It's the first place my husband makes me go when we come down to the beach house, amazing home cooked food and staff are lovely, there's no better place to have steak and kidney pudding
Wonderful place, friendly staff, great food and at a good price! Was very busy so I would book next time but they squeezed us in! Will be back for a roast soon!

Love this place, breakfasts are awesome and Sunday dinners are yummy. Use once a month or thereabouts with our family and love the service and the fact that the owner comes round for a chat to make sure everything is good x

A lovely cafe and bakery serving very nice meals, also a large selection of bread, cakes and pastries. Very friendly and welcoming staff. I would highly recommend this cafe/bakery.
Really nice lunch today and friendly service. The children enjoyed their meals and have asked to go back. We had to get cakes from the bakery to take away as we were full but the puddings looked good too.

Feels like stepping into a village 30 years ago. Gorgeous cafe with amazing cakes. We shared the huge bath bun. The ladies were friendly and chatty with all the customers. Can walk about the back straight to the beach.
Nice traditional cafe. No frills, good solid breakfast, with tea in a builders mug.

I love this place I have been coming here for years. I live in Eastbourne but I travel to pevensey bay for my breakfast. You will not be disappointed

Quirky cafe with an extensive menu, odd having cake in cling film though.
Had breakfast here 3 days in a row whilst on holiday with family including young children staff were very friendly and good with the kids, food is very good even our little doggy enjoyed the sausages.

Really love this place. Don't expect a modern, chain like place. It's a little rough around the edges but we thought it was charming. Very much a traditional seaside cafe & bakery, with loads of character! A fantastic selection of food (with a pudding cabinet, which i was very happy to see!), and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!
Fantastic 'bakery and cafe' - they do full on cooked meals too! Very friendly and helpful staff, competitive prices, great outdoor seating area (safe for kids - fenced in). Comfortable and attractive interior. Always made to feel like a valued customer with genuine friendly service. Dog friendly :)
