A lovely pub located close to the beach. Ample parking and dog friendly which was a huge plus.

Wonderfully friendly pub, with great landlords and a super, hard working team. Some great beers and lagers and all at excellent prices.
My one tiny observation is that there is no dedicated disabled parking (or none I noticed), this makes for some rather tight entry and exit on parking.

What can I say. We booked a table for 630 pm it was ready before we got there. When we walked in we were greeted with friendly staff. The landlady was absolutely brilliant. She made sure we were served well and got exactly what we wanted. Me being me I had downed my 1st pint before the rest of the
First visit to the Castle Inn. As the weather was nice we sat in the garden to the rear. Nicely laid out with plenty of seating and tables. The staff were pleasant and engaging. Just stopped for a drink so can't comment about the food.
Food here excellent, a lot of things homemade (steak ale and mushroom pie the best ever!) portion sizes are good. and nice to have piping hot food.

However, it was good for a quick meal and drink....wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer. Its a good location and has great potential which could be developed into making it a really nice pub!!
