The Lickfold Inn - Petworth - Photo album

Pie of the day was delishhhhhh! Should have photographed it with the gravy. Could have eaten it twice over. We were a huge party and were sat in the outdoor area.
Lovely lunch. Good quality and varied menu. Starter of scallops with black pudding and cauliflower purée was very good, followed by excellent steak and ale pie with rich gravy - with the pie made on the premises. I’ve been visiting this pub for many years, through its many incarnations, and am happy
Excellent pub dining. Beautiful Sunday roast and service was top class. We had a little mishap with the burger on delivery. The stack fell over but our waitress quickly handled it very professionally and without fuss. Having been closed for a while, these guys are doing an excellent job at deliverin
Met up with my cousin and her friend for a catch-up and lunch as I was working in the area ( for Animal Aunts ) Staff are very professional and friendly Everything carried out in a timely manner Cousin and I both had the Burger with extra bacon with fries. Best ever, seriously. Friend had 2 starters
Just went in for a drink and the work they’ve done to the place is amazing. Beautiful bar, lots of inside and outside seating. Great all around pub, need to go back to try the food.
This pub was established in the 1400s and was refurbished in 1972. Cozy space to have a delicious dinner and/or drinks. Good value for money, the plates are generous. Food is fresh, wholesome and in season. Staff is welcoming, warm and helpful. The duck salad and the venison were our favorites. Wine
Easy parking, easy booking, good staff friendly. The atmosphere inside and out draws you back along with a good menu our meals were very well cooked and good range of beer, cider, wines.
We have just spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon with friends at your Lovely dog friendly Pub, The food was delicious we had the roast beef and the Pies, good local beers, your young staff were very professional and friendly and when you think things could not get any better you had a brilliant Saxo
Great pub, lovely setting and delicious food. Really enjoyed the saxophonist playing live music in the garden which was a lovely addition to our Sunday afternoon lunch today. We'll be back!
After a somewhat frosty reception, when we were almost turned away even though we had booked a table, the meal and service was excellent. I was also disappointed that I was not asked how I would like my beef cooked, and it was definitely not as well done as I would have requested, however that being
Absolutely beautiful hidden gem. Some of the best pub food I’ve had. Service was top tier and would highly recommend to anyone. Lloyd was so polite and helpful, don’t have a bad word to say about this place!
This is a wonderful place to have lunch at on the weekend. The drive to get there is beautiful. The restaurant is in a very old refurbished in. There was a big selection of food, and a lot of plant based options.
Very nice food, location, reasonable prices. Sunday roast very nice. (Lamb shoulder was great). Good portion sizes.
Very friendly staff and delicious food. Particularly beef wellington was brilliant, but slightly disappointed with bibimbap which was more curry than Korean bibimbap.
Best platter One of the best platters I've had excellent quality , The cheese, meats, bread, olives was lovely and fresh perfect for the hot weather
Nice little (and ancient) pub in a cracking location. Good food and friendly service - we had a couple of starters for lunch and it was more than enough 😁
Absolutely great personal, chilling atmosphere and mostly its clean. And food is very tasty. Highly recommending!
Fantastic food, the best ribs I’ve had in some time and even the side salad was delicious. Beautiful historic building.
