Thought we would give this a try and I am certainly glad we did. Thoroughly enjoyed our fish and chips and will be back!

Had to wait 8 minutes for freshly cooked haddock, well worth the wait.
Crisp chips with soft centre. Perfectly cooked as was the haddock, fresh with a crisp batter.
Bonus was getting chips for free as an OAP at lunchtime.

The go-to fish & chip place in West Hampshire. Fantastic flavour and fast & friendly service. Most often a bit of banter in the queue too :) We are so lucky to have Mother Kelly's in Petersfield!
Popped in to grab some fish and chips before walking around the lake. Had a great chat with the owner, good choice on the menu and more importantly, great sausage and chips! Will be heading back in soon. Would recommend.

Gluten free Thursdays has been such a find. Lovely fish and chips, and even gf vinegar.
Best haddock and chips ever! Not greasy, decent size fish and chips were even free on Tuesday lunchtime.
Very very popular place so cook to serve not cook to order, so quick to walk in and get what you want. You're can't phone an order but can order over the Web
Get yourself to Mother Kelly's in Petersfield for Gluten Free fish and chips on a Thursday night, amazing, great value for money, the team were so helpful, chef knows his stuff!

The best fish and chips I have had in 25 years. Excellent service, friendly and polite staff and delicious cod and chips.
Fantastic chips. A steak and kidney pie that actually had kidney in it, and crisp fish that wasn't greasy. All round some of the best fish and chips I've ever had.
Friendly staff, quick service and reasonably priced! Will definitely come back again soon!
Always great tasting fish and chips. Freshly cooked or near to it as far as I can tell (at typical dinner times). Salt and pepper squid is a winner too. Service is pretty efficient too.
Best fish and chips ever, the batter was so crispy and pure white fish, ordered on line and picked up, perfect!
Every restaurant has it good and occasionally bad day. Nearly every time the food has been beautiful, but on those rare occasions when it's not up to their usually standard, a polite chat has always been given the very best attention and replaced without question.
We have used Mother Kelleys since they came to Petersfield and can thoroughly recommend them.
Love the food here..staff are all very friendly especially the older member of counter staff..would and have always recommended this place for your local fish and chips..
