Popped in here this morning for a breakfast. We saw the blackboard outside saying the place was dog friendly so that worked well seeing as we had 3 dogs with us. We ordered our food and the lady came over with some water for the dogs and some dog biscuits. She was very friendly and clearly genuinel

Very friendly staff, nice place for lunch with family and friends. Great service. Children's menu very good. Dogs are welcome. Quite when we visited but still a nice atmosphere. Commonwealth games on the tele, board games and books also available.
Food was on point, flavoursome, big portions.
In particular rob, lauren and Lily were so friendly, understanding and accommodating, amazing music and atmosphere, brilliant towards animals and children, 100% recommend and will definitely come back again.

Our first visit to the George but we will definitely be back. A lovely atmosphere created by helpful staff (special mention for Lauren). Great food and loved watching the sport in the beer garden.
Came from out of town and stumbled across this beautiful little pub on the high street. Location and general ambience were incredible and I was immediately greeted by the beautiful bar staff and the GM(?) Lauren, who was extremely helpful and recommended some cocktails that all looked amazing. I end
The new staff were amazing, came in for a lovely Sunday roast and some cocktails, good atmosphere and live sports too, you can really tell the place has been changed around since the old team left. Definitely on the up

Went to the george for an anniversary date with my boyfriend.wen we went in we were immediately seen to by the staff with amazing customer service. Loved the atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious! Hope to go again some time soon.

About 17 of us descend on the George with about 1/2 an hour's notice !
The girls run around looking after us and we had a lovely well cooked breakfast , they even did me fried bread on request !
Nice pub on the square at Petersfield so will be back again soon.
Incredible DJ night life on the weekends, positive atmosphere, and incredibly friendly barstaff - Rob and Lauren were incredibly helpful and recommended to try out the new cocktail menu. 🍸

Popped in for lunch while on holiday as it's a dog friendly pub.
Really friendly barman, very attentive and helpful. Had a nice meal, and the dog enjoyed his biscuits (and a few sneaky chips!).
