I had an amazing experience at York Road Fisheries! The food was top-notch, especially the Cowboy Supper. The flavours were outstanding, and the portion size was generous. The staff was friendly and the ambiance was welcoming. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the area!

New to the area and been looking for a good chippy. Chips were proper chips. Cod was good and chunky . And delivered to the house. Will be back.👌
Order of sausage and chips was misheard, ended up with fish and chips instead. Still wolfed it down like a man possessed. Very enjoyable.
Decent food every time. Prices are reasonable. Staff are friendly. Just buy a new card machine please. Some of us don't carry cash any more 🤣

Nice friendly staff, big portions, nice chips and good taste. Have yet to try the chicken kebabs as only available on Thursday Friday and Saturday, but in reality the only order in a small amount and are always out of them.
Great local chip shop, staff are really nice even though they are busy , all the food is nice, pizzas and 'share boxes' are great value. Chips aren't very tasty.
Been using this chippy for years. Excellent food, large portions and very nice staff. Ticks all the boxes. Best in the area in my opinion.

I was over from Belfast visiting my sister and got fish and chips from York Road Fisheries for 3 people and they were delecious and the customer service is second to none and I would highly recommend it.
Not from Peterlee but went there with my mate for the first time well worth the money for the portions u get would definitely go again
