Aden Country Park has got different areas: children’s Park, adog exercise park, a bridge and a stream, a lake with ducks, the ruins of an old mansion, a small museum, a restaurant and a bar. It is well served with toilets which all the times wet have been there, have been spotless.
Aden Country Park hosts a range of celebrations during the year: Easter 🐣 Egg hunt, family day, North East Bag Pipes competition.
On a lovely day this is a place place for all the family with a great park for the kids, lots of grassy area for you to have a kick around etc. Toilets a small museum and cafe where is also the fairy woods at the entrance which your children will enjoy as yourself. Only downfall is maybe adding a small train to take you all around the park.
Beautiful gardens and walks with lots to see. There is a lovely small tea room and the farming museum too which was interesting.
A little piece of heaven. I could sit here for days when the weather is good. So peaceful and beautiful.
Reminds me of country life when I was a child.
