What a great Indian restaurant to have in the town centre. A mix of traditional and creative dishes make a difficult choice but the quality of everything tried was sensational. Portion sizes are generous and the price is more than fair for what is given. Have recommended to friends already and will continue to do so. My new go to Indian restaurant in Peterborough.

My favourite spot to get Info food in P'boro. Service is always great. The food is divine and the location is just right. The staff is always making me family and I feel comfortable and it's very kid friendly. I definitely recommend.

Group of four of us visited a weekday lunchtime so it was very quiet, we were one of two lots of customers which worked out really well as it was almost private dining. Have never visited before but I’d heard good things and I was exited to try the menu. We ordered four starters (small plates) a sharing platter and two main dishes. The food was really yummy. I’d say try the naan sliders and paneer for starters. We had a mixed grill to share with a side of pilau and a naan. I really enjoyed all it. Can’t wait to go back sometime.

Went in for an early dinner, food was great and the selection of drinks available was refreshing as normally there’s only one choice of cider available when getting a curry. Reasonably well priced too!

Tap & Tandoor is an Indian establishment in the city centre of Peterborough, next to Cathedral Square. It's divided into two parts: The proper restaurant with its front to Cathedral Square, and a beer bar & gastro pub on the side, which is the part that I frequented on several nights during my stay in the city. There's more than half a dozen kegged craft beers on offer, I tried several. But I mostly drank Kona's Big Wave IPA. Not just because it's a decent beer, but because it develops an inordinate amount of foam when being poured. It was quite amusing watching the growing frustration of the bar staff trying to pour a pint (Sorry!), which took several minutes every time. Prices are elevated (roundabout UKP 6.50), and seating on the rough hewn wood benches outside was quite all right. Plus, unlike other pubs in the city, Tap & Tandoor is open until late even on weeknights.

It was good, quick service, made amendments to my mixed grill not too much bother, very accommodating, lamb chops a bit to grisley, mogo chips a bit tough, maybe as asked for sauce on the side instead of being tossed in sauce.

Loved the food so much! My home town is Leicester so I'm a bit familiar with Indian cuisine. This place is on the top end of my favourite! I can recommend this place for everyone who likes or wants to try Indian food. Our kids just loved it.. ( bit spicy...so be prepared with plenty of drink😂👍)

Food was outstanding. We arrived an hour before our booking and the staff were great and accommodating. The masala fries and the naan sliders were beautiful.
