28 Apr 2018: I've been advised that this Costa is closing within 2 weeks.
Update: 5 May 2017 - This place now has a new manager - Agapita - who is very nice and asks for feedback. There is now - at 08.30 - usually only one person behind the counter and they are all very friendly. Better and better!
This place reminds me of an older-style coffee shop. The lighting is quite subdued and - on the face of it - it's small and cosy. There is, however, much more seating downstairs. Most of the staff are very friendly, even when I storm in just as they've opened (I'm a morning person) but it depends upon who is on duty. However, I've been served by some really nice people. The coffee and choice of snacks are up to Costa's high standard. This is now my goto place for my morning shot.
This was a Welcome stop to warm up after wandering around Peterborough while it was snowing. Tried the vegan slice for the first time and enjoyed it. Coffee was also good as usual. Would recommend Costa.
My favourite coffee shop in Peterborough. Friendly & efficient staff. A quiet and relaxing area downstairs makes for a rejuvenating pause in the day.
Great service and a relaxed atmosphere. Shame someone in higher management decided this one should close down 14/05/2018. Not good, we'll miss this place. Queensgate Costas is too hurried.
Best costa staff on the WHOLE planet. Me and my wee dog have
been regular visitors and never had anything but friendly chat and good coffee.
Excellent place, friendly staff. As with all Costa's Wi-Fi is of poor quality, keeps crashing or unable to connect. Weak signal.
Some areas were closed, so made it hard to fit a large group in. Staff didn't mind us moving some tables though. Friendly service and tasty drinks and food
Great service, friendly staff, know my order off by heart and they make a great coffee everyone.
Fast and friendly service. Can get busy during peak hours but there's usually a few tables free and WiFi available.
