Proper, traditional chippy that has replaced werrington chip shop as my favourite chippy. Great fish and decent portions. Customer service is great.

I reckons it is the BEST fish and chips in Peterborough, chips are not that oily and yet crunchy. Also love the mushy peas sauce and the curry sauce to go with the chips. Must try them for yourself.

My brother, in his 50s said the fish was as good as he had ever tasted (and he holidays regularly in Whitby so knows his cod). Large Cod, great value too.
Lovely pleasant people at Gunthorpe Fish Bar, the location is a bit out of the way but well worth finding and visiting. Food is cooked fresh and doe's not take many minuets waiting. Place looks clean and tidy, parking also good. Prices are very reasonable too! - Very much deserving of five full stars!

Had large chips between 2 of us and was plenty of them large fish pineapple fritters and sausage. Was not disappointed the food was lovely reasonably priced hot and very polite staff 👍👍

Had fish and chips cooked just right batter crisp not greasy so all good
Best fish and chip shop anywhere in the world! They stayed open to cook us lunch and gave us free homebaked doughnuts while we waited!
