Wonderful afternoon tea, so much choice in the pick your own. The child's tea was amazing, we had one very happy 8 year old. The vegan choice was the best we have found. Cakes are so tasty, light and delicious. Good to be able to choose your drink too. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Pretty in pink. This little gem is perfect for a birthday or baby shower or hen party. Lots of pink decorations from flowers, bunting, chairs and more....afternoon tea was brilliant excellent portion sizes and very nice soft bread and cakes. Would recommend for anyone. We took my nan to celebrate her 80th birthday. A massive fan of pink herself she even has pink hair. Four generations celebrated over tea and cakes. Perfect 🥰 💞

Had a Sunday full English breakfast, it was amazing, we had coffee with it which was very nice . Lovely spot next to the river, friendly helpful staff. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are in Peterborough, we will return to sample the lovely food again .

We visited on Easter Sunday for a birthday brunch for myself. My husband and I absolutely LOVED the breakfasts we had. Full English and they were very impressive. The fried egg was perfectly cooked. We'll defo be back.

We booked The Chalkboard for Father’s Day and were blown away with the food, the service and the amazing staff who were serving us! Liv went above and beyond to take photos and get us takeaway boxes for the cakes we wanted to take home with us, thank you so much we will be back ❤️

Had the garden breakfast (veggie) which was ok, nothing too memorable. Scenery is lovely with the view of the river beside it. Can also sit outside on a lovely warm day. Great customer service. Would go again but for the cakes and tea, and mainly due to the relaxed scenery and location.

Visited for breakfast and wasn't disappointed in the atmosphere or the food, everything was cooked well and delivered to our table hot. The staff were very friendly and attentive, they made us feel very welcome. My only slight criticism was the length of time between sitting down, taking our order, delivering our drinks and then our food. The time between each stage was not long enough to make a fuss but long enough to be noticeable and make us wonder what had happened to our order. However, despite that very minor criticism I would highly recommend trying this place.

It was a lovely sunny day so we stopped here for a cold drink. The setting was beautiful so we stayed for lunch. The gluten free options were very limited but we found a few items to choose from. What we had was delicious. The inside is very pretty with lots of pink flowers so thought the name was a bit odd and didn’t match the decoration. .

Would highly recommend. My husband & I went for an Afternoon Tea date with bottomless drinks (the iced coffee was delicious!). Food was yummy & beautifully presented. The service was OUTSTANDING - we were made to feel SO welcome from the moment we arrived to leaving.

Absolutely love this place! Great staff and a great view. Plus the food is outstanding! Best breakfast in the area - pancakes and bacon are my favourite! Always made to feel special when we come and it's my go to place for breakfast/brunch/lunch/coffee & cake!

We were looking for a vegan breakfast place on our journey, this was a great find and meat breakfast also available. Two slices of toast with breakfast was a big bonus as I never feel one slice is enough! I like to eat it with all aspects of my breakfast! The scrambled tofu was a bit runny to my liking and quite strongly tasting of turmeric but a delicious vegan breakfast overall. The meat breakfast was my partner’s favourite of our weekend break for portion size and taste.

Afternoon tea was fabulous. The choices on the menu were immense and meant that each person can choose exactly what they wanted, rather than the usual vegetarian or meat option. Also, you can even amend the menu choices. So much food, we all came away with a 'doggy' bag! Lovely good, well presented. Very attentive staff. The location is ideal and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Highly recommended for any celebration. Well done to the owners and the manager. I couldn't have wished for anything better.

Had a lovely time here for my mum's 62nd birthday. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had the afternoon tea and there was options to cater for everyone from diary free to gluten-free. And my nieces loved the little touch of having their sandwiches shaped. The atmosphere was relaxing with the river out the front where you can go and feed the ducks and go on the peddle boats.
