Mum, husband and I have just been here for an absolutely gorgeous Sunday dinner. Trio of meats, delicious Yorkshire pudding and delicious roast potatoes, so much veg, which topped it off to be really good value for money! Would highly recommend the indulgent chocolate fudge cake! Staff are really welcoming and friendly, and I would definitely recommend the Boathouse as the place to go!

Had an excellent family meal here wednesday. Took dogs with us and were welcomed (not the case in most places) and had a quiet table in the corner which suited us. Staff were attentive, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. All three courses of food were cooked well, looked appetizing, and were brought out in good time. Plates were cleared (always a good sign). Above all though, this is a lovely place, charming decor, friendly staff in a scenic setting right near the river nene. Thanks to you all for a perfect birthday meal for my husband.

We arrived, having not been there for around 20 years or more. The first thing that we were pleased with was that they're dog friendly - VERY dog friendly. We were sat inside with our pack of 4 dogs, and they were brought water bowls as we were given drinks, and then they were brought treats (we were ask beforehand if this was OK - Top marks for thinking of that too) as we were brought our main meals. For the three of us, the bill was around £70, which for starters, mains, & drinks was pretty good; but it got better. Our lad spotted he had an offer from his bank to knock 25% off the bill! Even though we were paying, they were happy to accept and this meant that we were able to give an even better tip! Bonus!!! (Quick edit - I forgot to mention the brilliant staff by name!) We were served by Alex, and the dogs were mainly looked after by Anish. Both were highly professional, knowledgeable, and personable - they deserve to be mentioned, because they made such a difference to our visit. There was another thing in store for me; the toilet. Sounds dumb, but I have to use the disabled loo, and this is so often a dinghy affair tucked away somewhere. Not here. You needed a RADAR Key to get in, and then I was greeted by the BEST disabled toilet that I have ever been in. I'm still on two feet, but had I been on my mobility scooter, there was ample room inside for me to have manoeuvred around and got into the necessary position to swap seats, as it were. Pull down support bars that actually worked, taps that didn't just dribble, and one of those wonderful jet-engine based hand driers (actually blew my wedding ring off, but that was my fault). A brilliant place to eat, and if you give the staff your registration number, you don't even need to pay for parking. Without doubt, the next time we're in the area, we'll be back in to enjoy the place.

Had a really good father's day meal (pork belly) at the Boathouse this evening. It must have been good because the kids demolished theirs! The atmosphere in this place is always nice and relaxing, the staff are ace and we've never had anything other thank a good time here 👍

Love going here, pretty decent food for a reasonable price (although it has gone up recently) but also nice environment. Lovely to go for a walk. Good beer selection and chilled environment.

Stayed in the nearby Firefly Hotel and had a very enjoyable meal here from a great menu. A table full of guests were not happy that several things were not on the menu due to supplier issues (that many restaurants were experiencing at the time) and decided to try elsewhere. I would like to add at this point that I witnessed the manager handle the situation with calmness and dignity under provocation from one individual in the group. The meals were full, tasty and well presented and the establishment, busy, clean and full of interesting decor. Would happily recommend.

The Boathouse is a good hang. Great location so you could have a drink and a bite and go for a stroll. It's a Chef and Brewer pub and carries Greene King's ales and beers (parent company). You have a good selection of drinks here, including spirits. You get most of the well known brands as long as it is a fast seller. Their beef on the bone and 28 day matured steaks are absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of seating in and out and a decent parking space. The bar staff are very friendly. Try it. Won't disappoint.

We went on wednesday evening ,it was busy due to the lovely weather and they were a little understaffed but none the less the service was excellent, our waitress was attentive and informative there was a 45 minute waiting time for food but she explained that they’re was only one chef and then she herself was making puddings. Hubby had the steak medium rare said it was cooked perfectly and I had the seabass which was gorgeous definitely worth the wait we will be coming back.

Beautiful place, lovely nature trails which are mostly well kept so you aren't bothered by nettles and thorns, some places could do with a regular touch up though. Really big, connects to Thorpe park if I'm not mistaken (not from around here). Lovely place to go. Just bring your own water... The pub we went to charged nearly five pounds for two bottles of water lol.
