Following a disastrous visit in July when we ended up walking out, we were invited to a special evening to see the changes that had been introduced by the new management and it didn't disappoint.
The staff were super friendly and attentive, with menus, food and drinks being served promptly. The food has also improved and was presented much better than it used to be.
You could also tell that management was taking the time to speak to customers and get their feedback on what was previously wrong with the restaurant, what they thought of the changes and what could still be improved.
All in all, don't listen to any previous poor reviews of this place as they have made a massive effort to turn things around. You get what you pay for and it's a good dining experience overall.
Lovely fresh cooked food with a really baited menu meaning there is something for everyone.Staff are all lovely and helpful without being too over the top.Found a 50% off mains voucher online which was an added bonus!
The Italian waitress was one of the best, food was good and all the staff seemed happy.

Went on a very busy Friday evening. From the moment we got there till we left the service was fantastic and this was matched by great tasting food. I would definitely recommend a visit
Looked after from the minute we walked in, 7 people for my sons 9th birthday 🎂. I also have a 3 year old autistic daughter and mark I think his name is was fantastic alongside becca who also catered for her needs as best they could. Very pleasant experience. We even shared some cake with them was just overall a less stressful and quality experience. Good food to match !!
We had mark as our server, and I must say there is not a better server to have; funny, engaging, happy. He’s the type of person that Will treat you like he’s known you for years. I will definitely be back if not for the food (which by the way was delicious) then for Mark.
Mark and Millie were amazing from start to finish! If you are looking somewhere fun with a great atmosphere this is the place for you. Mark will make you feel part of the family from the moment you meet him. Add the great food to it and you are in for an awesome experience
Food was lovely, very tasty. I had the spaghetti and pork meatballs. Had the garlic doughballs for starters these were average. Rated slightly lower for service as was a bit slow but staff were friendly. Free parking. Toilets and baby changing were clean and accessible. Was very quiet when we visited as was past the lunch time rush
My friend and I had a fantastic meal with brilliant service. The waiter was lovely and was very kind. I really love Bella Italia, it’s one of my favourite restaurants and every time I come I have a wonderful time. I really truly enjoy coming to Bella Italia every time I come. The food is gorgeous and the waitstaff are always so kind and helpful. I truly couldn’t rate it highly enough.
Fantastic evening, lovely food, and the service was outstanding! Mark is an amazing host , he was very knowledgeable and helpful with regards to the menu and served us with a fabulous sense of humour, he helped to make the evening a complete joy. Ruta was also very helpful and courteous . Thanks again guys, we will be back again soon!!
I had a lovely time at Bella Italia in Peterborough! The service was spot on, and they didn't keep us waiting long for our food. Plus, we got a free main meal by signing up for their newsletter, which made the prices feel right. Great food, great deal, and a great time! 🍝👌
Always great food here, my favourite is the garlic & cheese flatbread (starter).
The service around 3-4 years ago was awful but the past couple of years they have stepped up their game. There is a young lad who is one of the waiters who is there every time I go and he always has a smile on his face and gives great service. I hope Bella can survive through covid

Our food was good but we had a little bit of messing around with our order due to kitchen issues but these were quickly sorted. We will definitely be back.
