As a new gold member, I was excited to come and test out my gold membership, and I was not let down! I got served quickly, and we were given several options where we wanted to sit and then shared our menus. The menu is the same throughout the other branches I have tried. We knew we wanted to have the infamous free dough balls (if you are a bronze member or above) and the Americano with the free Romana upgrade (available through the gold membership), and both were tasty. Our server was great and went over and above to ensure we had a great visit. Our drinks were made lovely, and we could eat in peace. I thought the pizza was delicious, and the pepperoni was delicious; I could not fault it.
We decided, due to our lovely visit, we would stay a little longer and order pudding, I ordered the new sunset sundae, and my partner ordered tiramisu, and both were so good. It was a great visit, and I enjoyed myself. If you are in the area, you will be in for a treat!

This branch of Pizza Express is much like most of their branches. It is quite spacious and well laid out with everything based around an open, visible cooking area.
The food is typical Pizza Express fare with a range of options for different dietary preferences. It was tasty and filling but a bit slow on arriving even though we were one of only two tables being served at the time. Service was pleasant but nothing exceptional.
Toilets are in individual units with three ladies' toilets and two male toilets all of which are situated on the first floor up a flight of stairs. The one I used was clean and tidy and pleasant to use. There is also one disabled toilet available on the ground floor.
I would happily recommend this restaurant and will return again.
Lovely to eat outside on a nice day, staff were a bit short staffed but did an excellent job making sure we were fed and watered.
Pizzas were as good as I'd expect great dessert too.
We had a family dinner few weeks ago on a busy Friday night. The food was delicious, the service excellent. The wine recommendation was on point. We had a great evening in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We are all looking forward to our next visit.

*You are correct the drinks are not included in the kids menu. Apologies! I’ve think the confusion came when our waiter offered them apple/pear or berry juice and we presumed that come with the kids meal!*

We had a nice meal here this afternoon with the family. The staff was very friendly and quick service.
My wife who has celiac disease ordered the gluten free pizza. She was concerned it wasn’t cooked enough but was assured that is how it comes. Maybe just personal preference but she found the dough abit “sticky”.
My pizza and the children’s were great.
The children wanted lemonade with there meals instead of the juice from the kids meal menu. Maybe there could be a small price decrease as I paid for the lemonades and the juice in the kids meal, which they didn’t have. Or maybe a bigger choice of drinks on the kids menu.
Overall though we had a nice meal and would return. We paid £58 for 2 pizzas, 2 kids meals, 1 starter and 4 soft drinks.
I love pizza, and I always loved thin crust. I do believe pizza express has got the best dough - if you do like thin crust They are the best for me and you never get disappointed having one at Peterborough branch. Me and my family went in lunch time, food came out nice and fresh, we didn’t wait too long for it. Our waitress Kazz was very helpful with what to order as my parent weren’t sure what to have. Fab food fab service, only one thing you could ask for it the music in background just to have that touch xxx
The location had no covers when I visited. It was clean and tidy. Toilets had a weird stench to them. Service was friendly but the team could have been more attentive as I had to wait a while for the main to arrive. Overall I would visit again.
Great meal. Lovely staff. Would have been 5 stars but they were rushed off their feet so we had to chase a couple of items.
What can I say? Food is the same as any pizza express but this has a particularly nice vibe with very friendly waiters/waitresses: attentive, patient (we were a LARGE party), and friendly. We were basically the last to leave but they didn't hurry us at all. Excellent service indeed!
Another excellent visit to the Peterborough restaurant. The whole team was very friendly and attentive especially Karolina, Donna and Diana. The pizza (Romana spicy Giuseppe) was superb. Luke has got this one off to a "T"!! Karolina made an excellent suggestion for a change to my normal order which was spot on. Always feel very welcome and a valued customer. Well done all!!
We came here after having a bad experience at a restaurant in London. This was a much more pleasant experience and the staff were so nice and helpful. The food was nice and hot and their drinks were really good. It definitely made up for the bad experience we had in the past.

My girlfriend and I went and visited Pizza Express as a late lunch, we arrived at 3pm and were immediately taken to our seats by a lovely waitress named Patricia. A few minutes later she returned and asked if we wanted our drink and if we were ready to order.
Our drinks arrived within 2 minutes and our starter, the garlic dough balls arrived about 5 minutes later. Within 5 minutes of finishing that our table was cleared and a few minutes later our pizza arrived. The pizza was perfectly cooked and with a perfect amount of mozzarella it was heaven-sent - a real credit to whoever made it.
My girlfriend's pudding was a vanilla cheesecake with vanilla ice cream and strawberry sauce. My girlfriend doesn't like vanilla but actually ate it all. My one gripe was that the menu didn't have desserts on it, you have to ask the waiter.
Using a coupon from the website I got the 3 courses for £12.95 and the drinks were £2.60 each for a total bill of £18.15.
Personally I feel the drinks are too expensive, as the waiter doesn't even pour it in for you so £2.60 for a 330ml glass of coke with a few ice cubes and a lemon wedge seems quite excessive.
Overall the staff are polite, don't harass you while eating and are happy to help. The food is well priced and of very good quality. The only thing letting it down for me is the cost of the drinks. I would very happily go again and would recommend to anyone to go. 4.5/5

Delicious food! If you like proper pizza this is the place to go. I gave four stars only because we waiting nearly an hour for food.
Would go back tho hopefully will get the food faster if it’s not as busy
