Very enjoyable starter and main didn't have to wait too long service was fab the staff were attentive reasonably priced with 2 pints aswell
Althou they didn't have everything on the menu the selection of food was still very good. The place had a feel of open space but has a lot of character.
The staff were very polite and constantly checking to see if we were happy with the food.
They were busy when we visited but we didn't have to wait long for our food. The drinks were expensive but the food prices were very reasonable and good quality. If I had one gripe about the food is that the size of the portion was a little small.
We will definitely going back as it had a very nice atmosphere.

We arranged our charity golf day here in September. Carol and the team provided an amazing experience with prompt service of food and drinks whilst allowing us to essentially use all areas of the venue to help raise money for charity and hold our presentation at the end of the day
Couldn’t be happy with the support provided by Carol and the team on the day and we’ll be using the Woodman again for 2024’s charity event. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We held a large family event at the pub and Carol and her team looked after us so well. We had a fabulous buffet which was well presented and delicious . Was a great relaxed atmosphere in lovely surroundings.
I booked at short notice and they were able to fit us in.
Very nice menu & drinks selection. Did not have to wait long for a lovely hot meal on a hot plate and there was good size portions . The staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive.
Will definitely be going again.
Amazing service and amazing staff. I booked a table for our mother's 88th birthday and the staff were absolutely wonderful. The table was decorated and they even got a 'birthday' balloon, really making my Mum and her freinds feel special.
We live in Australia and it so nice to know there are people like the staff at the Woodman, that will go the extra mile and really care for their guests, making a birthday lunch and memorable experience.

We sat in the garden, in the glorious sunshine and ordered a mix of small plates along with a cocktail pitcher.
The food arrived all together and was piping hot. The salted beef Bao Buns were to die for as were the burger sliders. At 5 for £20, It was really good value!
The pina colada was well made, really tasty and not too overpowering of alcohol....perfect!

After Gordon arms was a let down we have decided to pop into Woodman.

We had a lovely evening here on Saturday. The staff are great, really helpful and friendly. There is enough staff on so you don’t have to wait at the bar long.
We ended up ordering the small plates, 5 for £20 and we felt they were really good value for a great variety of different things. The food was lovely we’re excited to return for a full meal soon.
Drinks were really good, great attention to detail and also some cracking deals on. If you like gin, this is your place they have a whole menu for it! Also, they do pitchers which are also great value!
I’d just like to thank the young lady that made our pitcher (Long Island iced tea) because they were delicious and made the proper way, on the spot with the proper stuff - no pre mixer!
The place is modern and tidy with a great atmosphere, clean toilets, big outsider area overlooking a golf course and a children’s play area too.
We’re really pleased we went and we’ll be going back. To all of the staff, you’re doing a great job and thank you for making sure we had a lovely time! 10/10
Came for a meal after a very busy weekend, a big group of us. The service was excellent and the food was delicious, would highly recommend, good value for money. 😊
There was 6 adults and 3 kids one at two and half and 2 at 6 years old and we got a table and we got food for all plus kids had chocolate Brownie and ice cream for afters and drinks all round at 7 PM the woman who served us was friendly and polite even tho she was probably serving people all day,the food was excellent we all eat out together often mainly pub food and we all said after how nice it was not one of us had a negative thing to say,cheers from 9 hungry people,👏👏
Carol and the team hosted a great event for our family. Tasty and plentiful food and a great space outside for the summer.
We had our Christmas party here. The food was delicious. Served hot and quickly. The atmosphere was great and the staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. All very friendly and cheerful. Love that it’s dog friendly, will definitely be back.
