We had a lovely meal here, we booked for 6pm on a Friday and it was quiet in the restaurant, i can imagine it gets quite busy later on. The people serving were very friendly and helpful. Food was great. Nice relaxed atmosphere with Indian music in the background. There was a small car park at the back. Will definitely go again.
Amazing hospitality and yummy food. Clean and good ambience. They went an extra mile by providing us with chicken broth soup which wasn't on their menu. Pleasant experience, would love to visit again

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here, what is likely to be the first of many!
Not withstanding the friendly welcome and brilliant service, the vegan menu is HUGE and full of variety. We got chatting to our server who is vegan herself and influenced their chef, who enthusiastically took on the challenge to convert and design vegan versions of their authentic dishes.
We had the shared vegan vegetable platter to start which was bursting with full and flavoursome veggies - baby corn, roasted cauliflower, mushrooms, peppers and onion, as well as a sumptuous extra that we think was soya chunks. Whatever it was, it was moreish! Each were gorgeously spiced whilst still staying true to what they were. I get fed up of vegan options being 'deep fried everything' so this was a refreshing change!
For my main I enjoyed the soya keema mutta with a tandoor roti, again delicious!
My boyfriend had a non vegan option and was equally impressed, but said he regretted not trying something off the vegan menu as it all looked so good.
If you're looking for an authentic Indian without having to go into town, this place fits the bill perfectly! Highly recommended.
Great curry, lovely staff, good beer. Unusual menu too (not just standard dishes) so makes you have something different, which in itself if nice.
Very friendly welcome and great service throughout , didn't feel rushed or pressured, the staff are happy and patient and allow you to enjoy your dining experience. Most importantly the food is incredible, I highly recommend the mixed starter for 2 first time I've ever had fish in an Indian restaurant (WOW!!) Will definitely be back!!!!!
EXCELLENT in every way. Delicious food, wonderful friendly service, great ambiance. Top notch food and drinks menu. They happily allowed us to take our time and were most helpful explaining the menu and various dishes. Everything is made fresh from scratch so you can have your desired spice and heat with any dish. This place truly is a hidden gem. Highly recommend.
The Best Food I've ever had, my number 1.
Anyone who gives the food any less than five stars clearly hasn't experienced good Indian food (not Bangladeshi or Pakistani food) these guys are actual Indian. There are only three Indian restaurants in the whole of Peterborough.

The food is amazing, great flavours and portion sizes are really good, cooked with love, we had a selection of vegetarian food from the menu, presentation was beautiful, and prices are reasonable high quality food for a good price.
I would highly recommend this restaurant, the atmosphere was relaxed yet felt vibrant. Very clean, standards are extremely high. The service was exemplary, staff were very friendly and attentive to customers needs. Great choice of cocktails and drinks.
All round an amazing evening had, will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends.

The staff are genuine and welcoming, the restaurant itself is cosy, clean, nicely decorated and well maintained.
The food however is the reason to visit. Delicious and unique, unusual contemporary Indian dishes made with expertly balanced spices.
Vegetarian dishes are a real part of the menu rather than an after thought.
Prices are not cheap but well worth it for the quality of the fayre.
Absolutely fantastic.. cannot praise the food enough.. from the poppadoms to the peshwari naan.. everything tasted beautiful.. the staff were attentive, the ambience was relaxing.. nicest meal I've had anywhere in a long time. Thank you. We'll be back!!
Delicious varieties of street food on Sundays. Defo going there again. Friendly and knowledgeable staff to help you with the menu. Keep up the good work. Kudos to the Chef's and the entire team at Banyan Tree Werrington.
We usually order take out from here but popped in for the first time last week. The food is really very good. Plenty of options for different pallets and dietary requirements. The staff were nice but we did wait a very long time for our food to come (over 40 mins) It was fairly busy however. We will be back and would recommend :)
