Friend & I went up for the Lionel Ritchie concert, stayed next door & went in to enquire about booking a table, from the minute we walked in we felt right at home the food was delicious so much so we even ordered the shared pudding platter which was amazing. We ate there the second night too & even though the place was mobbed we got served very quickly. The staff were so friendly & even remembered what drink we ordered the night before. Will definitely return (& Chris...thanks for all the ice)
Friendly welcome and even though rushed off their feet still very attentive. I had the lobster and prawn cocktail which was lovely. Could have had a wee bit more lobster but lovely and loads if prawns. Hubbie had the mushrooms in a sauce also lovely. I went for the bacon rib which came with basil mash and a whisky and marmalade sauce. Wow. Gorgeous dish and the sauce really complemented the bacon. Hubble went for the fish and chips after seeing someone else's. The batter was a lovely light and crispy one. This is a wee hidden treasure and we'll definitely come back on the passing to Aberdeen. We actually chose that Travelodge because the pub was recommended.
Went for Sunday dinner with my girlfriend and the food was lovely had a lovely bit of steak and the desert platter we had for desert was amazing will definitely be going back and would suggest it to anyone lovely little place ☺️
We have eaten here on two consecutive evenings as we are staying at the Travelodge next door. On both occasions we had great meals, well cooked , well presented and very filling. The staff are all friendly and attentive and actually find time to have a conversation, which is quite unusual these days. I would certainly recommend it to Travelodge guests and would suggest that Vintage Inns look at the possibility of a breakfast menu too. We will be trying our local Vintage Inn to see if it compares favourably. If Vintage Inns have an employee of the month my vote goes to Natalie.
Called in on the off chance of a meal, seated all most immediately, the meal was great and all members of staff were great, the barman was very helpful with our G&Ts will call again when in perth
The staff were very friendly and helpful they couldn't do enough for you and the service was excellent the only thing that could be better if you reduced the price of the soft drinks because some of us have to drive and the soft drinks are to expensive
Great atmosphere. The food is always great and the new menu is no exception. The staff are very friendly and welcoming (Stuart). What can I say, it's my local 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Nice pub, very friendly and accomodating staff and our party of 7 all enjoyed our meals; although not all the menu was available our waitress Natalie soon helped us through our options and kept us well supplied with drinks and smiles all evening.
We'll be calling in again on our next venture north!

Nice, varied menu, efficient and friendly service, and prices pretty good. Definitely recommend.
Had a lovely meal here today. Service was fantastic and the food was amazing will definitely be back
Amazing homemade food! Would highly recommend, a lovely atmosphere
Had a lovely visit today, The roast was delicious, my daughter loved the fish and chips also. Compliments to Danny the chef and excellent service from all the staff, gutted I can’t remember the girls name who served us.
First time here for an evening meal even though we have stopped at the Travelodge many times, we had pre-booked a table, on entering we were welcomed by a lovely young girl, apologies, can't mind her name, we were shown to our table which was at the back of the dining room, a nice quiet area, we ordered our starters, mains & drinks and eventually desserts, the food was amazing and plentiful, nothing was rushed, staff were friendly and courtesy at all times, will definitely be back on our next trip.
Friendly staff, efficient service, nice decor, good choice of food with interesting presentation. Only knocked off a star because bar area was a bit noisy with several children running around squealing. Otherwise a good stop for late lunch in a busy day
I had the arancini to start which were quite good....needed seasoning, we had steak sandwich and pizza for main which were perfect....and the fries were delicious. Good choice of wine. Too stuffed for pud!
Sunday evening and a quiet place to eat. We both chose pie of the day and were impressed by the well filled individual pie dish. Veg and chips were just right. 2 of the desserts finished a good meal. We'll be looking out for Vintage Inns again. Service was good too. Thanks chef Chris and waitress Kirsty.
Back for the 3rd time in two weeks as they have a fab little dog section, complete with fresh water and treats.
I’ve tried the lasagne, duck pizza and fish finger sandwich. Favourite so far is the lasagne. Staff are always lovely and friendly. Will be back!
Food was brilliant and service was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. We have a small dog who was made most welcome and given water and biscuits to keep him occupied.
3 of us spent a lovely evening here on Thursday 28th September. Carly, our waitress, was lovely. Very helpful when we were ‘dithering’ about what to order. We all enjoyed our various dishes and relayed our appreciation to Danny, the chef. I particularly loved the sauce that accompanied the sea bass ( could have done with a jug full!).
We stayed on to enjoy a nightcap before moving across the car park to our beds!
This was a lovely start to our Scottish holiday. If we hadn’t been moving on to the highlands we would have returned to eat here.
Over the years we have visited Glover Arms many times and on every visit we have found the restaurant spotlessly clean, cosy and with a super welcoming atmosphere. The staff are so personable, helpful and very professional. The food is always of the highest standard and delicious, with a great selection of choice. Also great value for money! A great spot for couples, friends or families (they are great with our two wee boys!) - couldn’t recommend it enough!
We had a great visit to the "Glover Arms" this evening.
The food was great & beautifully cooked & all the staff were really friendly & attentive. The place has a good atmosphere too.
Would definitely recommend it for a meal,or a night out.
It's a shame we don't live closer,a 7 hour eachway trip for a meal out is pushing the boundaries of sense.
First time eating here as up this way on holiday, and we couldn't fault anything. The staff were lovely and polite and the food was delicious and served quickly. We really enjoyed our evening here, thank you 😊
