Definitely recommend this beautiful village pub for its wonderful food, fantastic welcoming atmosphere and its lovely decor which is such an amazing transformation to the tiny pub it was years ago. The village itself is also a joy sitting at the foot of Bredon Hill in the Cotswolds with castle ruin
We had a warm welcome, and the service and food was excellent. We will definitely be going here again! It was reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly. It's easy to park outside, and the surroundings are stunning. Good pub food, and drinks.
Nicely presented community pub with very pleasant staff and a well kept pint of Wye Valley. Had lunch there with Friends and everyone was happy with the food. We had driven maybe 40 minutes to try this pub and although it was fine it wasn't a "stand out" lunch. Would happily return though
Historic building, sympathetically restored. Comfortable chairs, separate coffee bar, located in a quiet village, on street parking.I only had a drink but several friends had a late Sunday lunch which they said was delicious and the pub was very accommodating for a party of 11 at short notice.
My family loved the food and atmosphere. It is a significant walk from Great Comberton but very manageable. Highly recommend.
Great pub, excellent selection of real ales with a very good selection of food as well. Despite it being Saturday afternoon and a big party the service was prompt and attentive. The meals were very good with generous portions. Well worth visiting especially as this is a community owned pub.
Enjoyed a lovely lunch, please of choice on the menu from snacks to full meals. Would recommend it and shall certainly go again. Dog friendly too
Just been for a lovely lunch in a party of 12 There's a really good menu which should suit most. The food is very good, good sized portions and it tasted very fresh and tasty. The staff were very helpful, attentive and happy. Definitely worth visiting especially as it is now community run.
Love, love, love this fabulous pub! We frequent here often, bring friends and family and never have any cause from complaint. Food and service outstanding. Have recently discovered they do amazing full English breakfasts, deffo a "must try" as they are scrumptious. Big shout out to Paul a very amia
A very homely pub and really cosy and welcoming, really friendly and helpful staf that gave you a really good service, with no problems that they couldn't help you with, food was of a high standard for a pub, I had fish a chips,my wife had the burger which looked too good to eat, there was not a s
First visit today, a warm welcome from friendly pleasant staff. We had Duck breast in plum sauce, and new potatoes and veg. Nice meal, I would have preferred a thicker plum sauce as this was a bit thin, also had Salter caramel Brownie with mango sorbet, nice but would have been better with a dairy
Fantastic Sunday lunch, one of the best we've ever had. Large portion, vegetables cooked just right and delicious Cauliflower Cheese. I had the pork which came with perfectly cooked crackling and homemade apple sauce. My husband had the beef which he said was very tasty. We also had pudding, cheese
Lovely pub, delicious fish and chips. Menu choice is not big but food was nice...just what we needed. Decoration, toilets, the ambient was all good. Will go back when I visit that part of the world next time.
Delightful community venture. We arrived too late after walking around Bredon Beacon for hot food but we were made very welcome by the lovely staff. The courgette and lime cake was delicious. Would definitely stop by again if doing another walk.
Popped in today after a walk over Bredon Hill, was chuffed to see alcohol free beer on tap - Big Drop IPA! Food was lovely too - see photos. Was made to feel welcome, and muddy dogs are allowed too. 🐕 Would definitely recommend and return!
Always an enjoyable time eating at this award winning pub. Good food, good prices and good service. Good selection of ciders with some unusual guest ciders.
Excellent local pub and restaurant. Very welcoming, dog friendly. Great choice of fine food and ale. We will be back.
This is a wonderful community-run pub, cafe, shop and restaurant, and really feels like the beating heart of a lovely little village. A warm welcome, friendly staff and great food round off the experience. The chips are a crispy, fluffy masterpiece of potato art!
