We were on our last night of our mini break away and came across Del mar as a last option...it was the best meal of the weekend! The food portions were good sizes leaving enough room for all courses. Great tasting food especially for my mum who is extremely fussy eater. Staff were very friendly � and was a very clean restaurant with a nice atmosphere, an overall good experience and would recommend to anyone in the area.
Wow! We ate at Del Mar last night, for the first time and it was the best meal I've had in a restaurant in a very very long time! I highly recommend the Bruschetta and the Vermicelli with king prawns and scallops. Just gorgeous. The service was great, even though it was busy and I enjoyed listening to the Italian chef shouting from the kitchen ;). I highly recommend it.
Excellent food - we went here twice in 5 days both meals were absolutely excellent and the staff very friendly and professional - best Italian restaurant we have been to, would recommend to anyone
My partner said amazing, our little girl loved her food and mine fantastic. Very friendly staff. Would definitely visit again when down that way. Thank you for a quick and very friendly service with food that tastes perfect............Dessert..........Tiramisu.....I could have had a few of those if I was allowed :) and little one loved her chocolate mousse.
Price was as expected for the service and food, very happy with that too.
We went twice to Del Mar, and both times the food was exceptional! I had the monkfish with scallops one night and the John Dory on our last evening. Sulema was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It's a hidden gem in Perranporth and we will definitely go back there next year :)

Love Del Mar. We get take away pizza all the time, and eat in every so often. The food is all homemade and very good, and staff are friendly. The deserts are really good so make sure you leave room!
Just had the most amazing meal at Del Mar. Steak Diane, probably the best steak i have ever had. Also the service was excellent.
Locals do not rate it but if you like fine dining then go here �
A warm welcome preceeded a sumptious meal in a relaxed setting. Excellent service presented high quality fresh hot food to a high standard but reasonably priced. Definately returning soon and only minutes from the beach.
Always a good meal from the Del-Mar! Food is cooked fresh to order and you can see them cooking. Quick service considering all the menu items and fresh cooking.
I had the Salmon Katy which was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious!
Probably the best restaurant in Perranporth food wise and value for money 😊👍🏻

Was a lovely meal the staff were really friendly. Only complaint I have is that we booked a few weeks in advance as there were 7 of us. It felt like we were forgotten about as when we arrived there wasn't a table set up to seat 7 people so we had to put our youngest on the end of our table.
Lovely little family run Italian. Avocado Del Mar starter is lovely, as is the spinach and ricotta ravioli and most other dishes on the menu I'm sure! Only minor things; apple pie came out cold in the middle, they took it back and came back with another piece cold in the middle, apparently heated in the pizza oven. However this was minor, still yummy cold! Also tiramisu served in a dish with a spoon not small enough to reach the bottom of the dish but, again, this is minor! We always come here on holiday :) also a note for parents prams aren't allowed indoors which is fine if you know in advance but this isn't advertised on the website as far as I can see!
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I have been coming to Perranporth for a number of years now and I have always had a good meal and this is always my first choice for a beautiful evening meal on night one of my holiday.
I actually live in Worcestershire so I've come a little distance away.

We found Del Mar whilst on holiday in Perranporth and ended up eating there two days in a row we loved it so much. Amazing food with incredibly generous portions at good price. Some of the best food I've ever eaten! Loads of fish, and some great vegetarian options too. Lovely staff and good service times too.
Wow what can I say! The pizzas and calzones are amazing. This is one of my must go to places every single time I come to Perranporth. Every single time I come here I say this is the best pizza I've ever had & let's put it this way I'm obsessed with pizza so that's a proper compliment coming from me lol. The portion sizes on the pizzas etc are really good as well. I will keep coming back here year after year!
Edit: we came back twice during our stay here & the amazing food standards are still being met. They are always packed so I'd recommend booking in advance. We will definitely continue to return every single year that we come back to Perranporth. Keep up the amazing work guys, still the best ever pizza I've ever had.

We had good relaxed service and even the wine and beer were fairly cheap.
