Impressive would be an understatement the menu was like a master piece of culinary delight in its own right ! Really this was a most amazing experience. The food ambiance service & wine list was sublime yes superb top end wines but not at ridiculous prices and to give you an example of how I rate this, I would put it in a par with Alain Ducasse in Monaco ! Seriously the food was that good !! Did I really just write that ....

Had the pleasure of taking my fiancée here for a birthday meal and it was amazing, champagne to get settled in then scallops 3 ways, crab 3 ways both dishes were amazing and for mains 24oz T-bone with all the trimmings now if your a red meat type of person this is the one to have! And my mrs went for the Thai green curry which was delicious and of course because it was a celebration for Pudding we went for the tasting plate presented on a happy birthday plate which was a surprise thank you guys and we'll see you soon.

Wonderful menu, fabulous service and food that certainly did not disappoint. My wife and I travel between Suffolk and Devon very frequently and have spent 7 years looking for the best place to stop for lunch or dinner. We need look no further and will be back to The Greyhound often! Our Border Terrier was made to feel very welcome too and loved having his own water bowl under the table.

Friendly welcome by all the staff we encountered on arrival, beautiful garden setting, live music by a talented musician, well kept Loddon Hoppit and a fine Gin collection. Scallops 3 Ways (Black Pudding & Cauliflower Purée; Grilled Chorizo & Chorizo Jam; Guacamole) was divine, I could have just kept ordering that all night! All 4 of us entirely full and satisfied. We'll be back.

We hadn't been for four or five years (it is over an hour away from us), but wanted somewhere for a special birthday meal that would also offer a decent range of veggie options for our daughter. The Greyhound did us proud again, every bit as good as on previous visits with great food and attentive service despite a full house for Sunday lunch. We must not wait so long before our next visit.

You know when you find a restaurant that just blows your mind to the point where you forget to pick up your son from school leading to an argument with your wife. This is that restaurant.

This was the most memorable Lunch we've had in a long time, the menue was exquisite and the service friendly and fast, but above all was the presentation, taste and quality of the food which was wonderful. We will certainly be coming back... a lot.

Absolutely stunning place for food and great time with friends to catch up. Amazing food especially steak! Definitely place to come back to! Great atmosphere without loud noise on the background so there is a chance to talk to your friends and family - whoever you invited for the dinner. Lovely interior and staff ! Thank you we will be back !

Had a wonderful meal here this week. The menu is extensive and everything we ordered was top notch. Set menu of £20-26 for 2-3 courses also looked very reasonable. I had the Trio of crab and then surf and turf then sticky toffee and all were fabulous. Service was so accomodating too. Highly recommend!

Love this place, probably the best service I have received, friendly, knowledgeable really attentive. The atmosphere is really warm and quirky with different artifacts on the walls and ceilings. The food is just beautiful, the mushrooms stater is so tasty, we had the sharing tomahawk steak which was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend going here. The owner Anthony was sitting in his own restursnt eating the food so it shows you how good it is.

Very cozy restaurant and great selection of grilled menu, all good portion and very well seasoned. A little bit disappointed about the fried duo, as the calamari could be better prepared. Drink selection is good and very like the pineapple tart tatin

Always top notch food every time without fail. Surf ‘n’ turf is a favourite, but all the dishes that I’ve tried are excellent. Alex managing things front of house always goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect. Recommended.

Arrived at this lovely public house / restaurant in the cold pouring rain. The warm welcome our small group received certainly made up for the weather. We enjoyed a truly enjoyable lunch with fantastic service in beautiful surroundings. The wait staff were helpful and attentive without being pushy. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome and at ease. I can not compliment the delicious food enough, everything was exceptional. Will without doubt be returning to The Greyhound in the future.

A great place to eat and drink that is moe a restaurant than a pub. Excellent service, polite and knowledgeable staffs and great ambience. Very dog friendly place but it was a bit annoying when two dogs pick up fight and frighten the s*%# out of you when you are just about to enjoy the evening meal! It was disappointing to have ordered the T bone steaks by two in our group when it didn’t look or tasted like T bone steaks. Wine and drinks were of the best quality served perfectly.

Family dinner on a Thursday night. Was surprised how busy it was but delighted with the quality of the service. We all had starters and main course. No deserts. Lamb Shank was huge, my Hake served with a Spanish seafood stew was delicious, two of our party had steaks which they also found to their liking. We found good wine on the menu at a reasonable price. We would definitely return and can recommend this restaurant.

Good quality food at a high price point. Starters were fantastic, mains variable ( my wife's tart tatine was a bit bland and the risotto over cooked but my surf and turf great). Cheeseboard very disappointing - cheese straight out of the fridge, chutney fizzy and no grapes or colour to add as an accompaniment. Poor presentation and no flavour. Overall slightly disappointing in the value for money side. Vegetarian options available but vegetarians may be put off by the hanging grouse and ubiquitous stuffed animals. (Some teddies, too, to lighten the mood,)

Amazing food, presentation, and service. Days later, still talking about the meals we had. Sunday roast menu was impeccable, starters were delicious. Good portion size, balanced plate of meats, and fresh vegetables. Wondering when we can return!

Very professional and friendly staff, nothing we asked was too much trouble! Great venue with unique decor and fantastic food - genuinely struggled to pick as so many options sounded delicious! Will definitely be back again next time we are in the area.

We had 2 delicious meals at AWT's The Greyhound over 2 days! We loved sitting in the garden, and the fit-out inside is so fun too. The staff were fantastic, and the cocktails were amazing. Highly recommend! Also, they had gluten free options for me, which is always a win!

Amazing!! Especially on Wednesday - an amazing acoustic guitarist, quiet, great voice, excellent songs. Decor is quirky, but the food is awesome. Can especially wholeheartedly recommend the Banoffee pie and Cherry and White chocolate cheesecake.

Came here to celebrate an anniversary lunch. Not been here before so was looking forward to it. Welcome and decor was lovely and comforting. Great food and drinks choice. The starters of crab 3 ways and mushrooms and brie on toast were scrumptious. The mains were a little lacking. The dishes were tasty but the meat in both dishes were a let down. I had to send my chicken back as seemed raw. Was brought back and was assured that it had a pink tinge in the middle due to brining? By this point I was put off completely as did not look appetising and made me feel a little nauseous. My partner's lamb was also a little on the anemic side. Middle was nice and pink but the outside wasn't charred nor was the fat crispy. The outside was pale in colour. Service was very attentive however a little disappointed for the fact I didn't eat the majority of the chicken dish. The offer of a free coffee or dessert would have been ample. Probably would visit again however avoid the chicken 'steak' dish.
