A hidden gem. Step through the door and be amazed. The layout is rustic, multiple food areas and lovely menu in a sprawling barn of a space. Most of all it’s the decor and atmosphere. Works great as roomy lunch venue. It would also be fantastic for evening drinks. Definitely going to repeat visit.
Finally an exciting menu, void of just the usual suspects, but full of innovative and interesting cooking! The food is grand, don’t be scared to try something new and push the boat out, because everything we ate was divine. The summer stew and fish was especially good. The whole place gives off farm yard vibes, with honest food and a down to earth style, exposed kitchens and bars to go with it. It’s a big open space, loud and full of life, with sustainability at its core. There’s a deli selling all the things you’d expect it to, great for a cheeky browse to pick up something to take home and for a little something extra, a pasty maybe? Theres a bar with a great variety of wine and other drinks, and even a little corner with a chess board. Service was a little wonky at times but always with a smile, and things are priced fairly when you look at the bigger picture. The mackerel cicchetti was divine, so was the broccoli with Basil bean purée. They would be my recommendations. Don’t know how this place only has 4.4 stars as of writing this, should be a lot higher and I think in reality, recent reviews would agree 😁

Really fun place, good vibe, great food and dog friendly. Lovely helpful and friendly lurcher owning cook, the younger bar staff we're so great. Fantastic owner, freindly and welcoming. Can highly recommend.
A cracking place to grab something to eat and drink. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. The food is tasty, fresh and filling. Parking is not so ample, however, as the on-street spaces fill up quickly. A nearby council carpark (Penalverne Drive) is only a 5 minute walk away. Worth noting that dogs are fully welcome inside the venue.
What a brilliant place. Fantastic food, great vegan options. The absolute freshest veg and most incredible flavours. Local produce at its finest

Wow! From the moment we walked up to the front door, we were warmly welcomed, chatted to and made to feel so at home. The cocktails were delicious and everything we tried from the menu was a stand out. We met the owners who were awesome and kindly shared their story. This is such a hidden gem and one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in a long time. Thank you!
The place has great atmosphere and design. We came for dinner and the food was very average. I can recommend this place for the drinks and starters only.
Really really REALLY good food.
Lovely owners , who care about what their doing.
In the off seasons call before you go make a journey , they may not always open at times shown on google maps.

Place has changed with pluses and negatives. No more table service , you seat yourself and order at the bar. I actually like this way of doing things - in a busy London restaurant it makes sense - but here (?) you’re paying £££ and it takes away from the experience.
Food prices have gone up (as they have everywhere - so no problem) but the prices here have gone up too far. This restaurant used to be based on sharing platters/ plates and now the food is mains / sharing plates but it’s not very clear. Mozzarella and squash with a seed cracker was £15 and would at a push serve 2 people. So the food costs more and the portion sizes vary. £10 for flatbread ?
I appreciate that the food is organic, locally sourced and ofcourse everyone needs to make a living but I don’t think the prices match the portion size and general vibe of the restaurant.
Oh and they don’t take cash which is a HUGE minus for me!
Loved the place! Honest food and super friendly! Happy to find a place like this.
Nice ambience and very nice service. The food from the vegetarian restaurant was a bit bland in most cases, but very nicely presented.
We loved this place! There's a great selection of vegetarian food and it's all so tasty 😋 Great margaritas too. You should know that it has an informal feel to it, you seat yourself and order at the bar and the food comes as it's ready. There's also a great little deli attached to it. Would definitely go again.
This was a wonderful surprise and the first of two shockingly good suppers my wife and I had during two nights in Penzance.
The menu is very much designed to order and share multiple dishes. One reviewer seemed not to realize this.
All of the dishes we ordered were incredibly fresh and it was evident that the menu changed with the ingredients in a very organic way. We had oysters that tasted like the sea breeze smells. Beautiful carrots and sugar snap peas that were crunchy and addictive. And a roasted celeriac large plate with "Parisian bistro butter" among other things. I'll spend decades trying to recreate that butter sauce!
The cocktails we tried were thoughtful versions of classics and delicious also!
Highly recommended. Five stars!
1st visit and very much impressed.
Had Sunday Brunch -- Smoked Spanish Beans with toast and egg etc. Light and airey spacious warehouse design. Plenty of room. Quick efficient service. Will be back to visit again.
Light foods made with local ingredients. Dish of the day menu. Local beer and herbal tea. Good for groups and family. Have to wait for service during rush hour.
Had a lovely big portion of mussels in wine and garlic sauce today which was accompanied with a large portion of bread which is just what I expect. I don't like how some restaurants capitalise on charging for bread and mess with meals that traditionally come with bread just so they can make an extra £4-5 .
Really impressed with the ever growing fit out this restaurant has its cozy and classy it attracts the right clients it's always busy and always has a good vibe and serves up locally caught fish .🐟
Great family run business
Such an interesting place, open all day from 8am to 11pm,this place gives you spa e to experience quality food in an interesting way. Like a British take on Tapas, you build your own food board by choosing g a selection of small dishes to share and wait for them to arrive.
We ate tonight, on a mid week half term holiday evening when it was busy but still had some space, they had been having technical problems so there was a bit of a delay, but staff were friendly and welcoming and offering us complimentary items to ease our wait time..
The food was good, a great assortment of dishes at reasonable prices with plenty of local food on the menu, from seafood to cheese.
Great selection of wines and beer available, you will be spoiled for choice.
Thanks to the excellent staff for overcoming what seemed to have been a difficult night and performing so well! 😁
We'll be back...
Came across this place by chance,if you're in the area recommend you give it a go. Lovely setting, the atmosphere's chilled, a great place to relax after a day's walking. We had the negroni spritz and cherry Manhatten both tasted as good as they looked, the rose gin is great as is the build your own tapas board.
