Had a scrumptious lunch here with my mates. The white wine creamy mussels’ our favourite, along with pork belly, mushroom pasta and woodland chicken.
5/5 overall.
5/5 for staff / service - welcoming and friendly.
4/5 for food and price. Fresh and not over-priced. Although the pork taste really sour.
But lemon sole, scallops are great.
Highly suggest go for special menu and seafoods not steak or pork.
4/5 for ambience: a bit dark but cozy, lovely little restaurant.
Cozy small restaurant with a warm ambience. The food was great, especially the linguine. Impeccable service from the lovely owner of the restaurant, Carol, elevated our whole dining experience.
We had a lovely dinner at the Cork and Fork. Glad we booked because it was busy. The freshly caught sea bass and plaice were both delicious - grilled to perfection. Some of the best fish we’ve had anywhere. Great puddings too. The service was excellent - both efficient and cheerful in equal measure, a difficult combo to get right. Full marks all round - would warmly recommend.
Dinner for 2 on a Monday evening. Lovely restaurant space and the service was great. Three courses and a bottle of (very good) wine cost around £100 and it was worth every single penny. The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly and the pork belly was a huge stand out dish. It's not exactly our local as we were visiting on holiday but would definitely recommend
This is my second visit to the Cork and Fork, unassuming building but great food and atmosphere. Focus is on the quality of the food and service. I visited in August by myself and following a recent trip back in Cornwall this month, I went back with my friends who agreed with me that it was simply divine. Helen and Sasha were attentive, the food was unbelievably deliciously and seasoned to perfection. The lemon posset was served with Helen's partner's homegrown honeycomb and WOW. Hope to be back soon.
Lovely local resturant. All food cooked to perfect texture, along with great seasoning and beautiful presentation. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the dinner.
Absolutely outstanding, possibly the best restaurant in the area. The food was fresh and delicious, Master Chef style. The service was welcoming and friendly. We had gorgeous prawns for starters, followed by fish of the day (hake), tender duck breast and chicken breast. Affogato with real honeycomb for dessert. We shall be returning!
Excellent food and a good choice as we celebrated our anniversary. Free parking nearby in the evening. Had the scallops followed by fish of the day, my wife had the duck, her favourite. Recommended.
We visited at the end of June 2023 and had a wonderful meal here. Lovely service, great food and wine, and wished we had asked about the building. Well worth a visit although you should book ahead as understandably busy. Thank you.
Absolutely wonderful meals. Went for lunch one day and dinner the next. So fresh and local. Brought us all (large party of 7) happiness. Would 100% recommend
The fish of the day (hake), with potatoes and vegetables was one of the most delicious dinners I’ve had on our 4-week holiday. So tasty and everything was cooked perfectly; they even made kale taste great!
Popped in last night on the off chance, and they had just enough room to squeeze us in. Food and service were both fantastic. Would definitely go again in the future!
Such a cute restaurant! We ordered 3 lobster linguine's and a pea risotto and the food was incredible - so flavourful! As if it couldn't get any better we had the Cornish honey affogato and it was amazing, so different from anything we'd tried before. Highly recommend!
Perfect for dinner for two! Had a wonderful meal, enjoyed excellent service and a great selection of local food. Independent run by a hardworking family.
Undeniably one of the best restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of going to.
Food was unquestionably superb.
Service was extremely professional, polite and friendly.
Presentation was beautiful.
Genuinely recommend anyone to go here. We had the Hake and Mussels (specials) and both said it was hands down some of the best food we've ever tasted.
A must go in penzance.
Thank you very much.
