We come every year to Cornwall and always eat here. My daughter calls it the 'Pirate restaurant'. It is decorated with dim lights, fishing nets and lanterns. You feel like you have stepped back in time, it is a great atmosphere. The staff are always polite and friendly. The food is always plentiful
Great place, super friendly stafff. Food was fingerlicking good, portions with a size of an elephant. Would return for sure. Only lights were quite dull, but in all place just awesome. We got some deep fried mushrooms, pork ribs and fish fingers.

Great place for quirky food and drink in a pirate theme based eatery on the Penzance harbour side. Managed to get in without a booking but would recommend booking ahead in season as it is very popular. Quick service and delicious food. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Penzance.
First things portion sizes... the portion are massive...and it is not a case of quantity over quality. The food is good, specially the fish dishes. My partner got the fish fries which was extremely fresh. Also the prawn starters amazing.

Been visiting the Waterside Meadery for 16years now. Never had a bad meal or experience. Staff are always happy and friendly and food is always piping hot! Think I’ve burnt my mouth on the mushrooms every time I’ve had them! Mead is always good too. Can’t wait to visit again!
