Loved this place.just been this evening 11th June 2017 . Romanic setting . beautiful hostess.really lovely food being a vegetarian lots of options in the all you can eat buffet .sweets were out of this world .heathly options lol and chocolate cake too yum xxxxxxx

Lovely Chinese, regular here now after Newlyn Chinese went down hill! Always get a delivery and the drivers are always lovely, the food is always hot and fresh, if there’s anything ever missing or not happy they’ll replace no issues. Only thing is the new girl on the desk needs to cheer up, never known someone as miserable�
Been here many times over the years and love the place. My son is a fussy eater but even he enjoys it. The staff are always friendly too, they have new windows now too so it's not even draughty like it has been!
Love this place. Friendly staff very welcoming. Great for birthdays etc... buffet is the bees knees. Plus they always have my favourite jelly squares hahahaha
Best Chinese all you can eat around! we drive an hour an a half to get to you each time as we love it so much! Lots of choice , always piping hot n amazing customer service from the girls! Hoping to come tomorrow for sons birthday x
I had my 60th birthday celebration here with 20 people, the service and care from the staff was excellent and so was the food. I will definitely be going back 😋😋

Booked a table at the last minute, no problem at all getting a table. Buffet was amazing, staff were friendly, service was excellent we didn’t have to wait to be seated or for our drinks to be served. Staff were brilliant with my 4 year old son too! Definitely recommend and will be coming here again
Been going here for many years, staff and owner are so friendly, kid's love it here, they can choose what they like!! So welcoming, can't complain!! �

Came here on late on a Sunday when everything was closed, this was the first place we found and it was phenomenal. Great service and food with a huge selection of both mains and deserts, good value for money as well for the buffet at only £18 per adult. Would recommend
Tonight, I had the pleasure of dining at the New Hong Kong restaurant in the company of three gentlemen who possess both autistic and learning disabilities, alongside my two colleagues. I am delighted to attribute my five-star rating to the exceptional service rendered by our waitress, Sarah. Her unwavering dedication and genuine care for our group truly exceeded all expectations, fostering an atmosphere filled with laughter, delectable cuisine, and impeccable service. We visited twice last year whilst on holiday in Zennor. This year we’re staying near Looe but had a day in St Ives and Penzance so made a point of returning to the New Hong Kong. As usual the service was outstanding and the food equally so. Plenty of dishes to choose from. Will definitely come back next time we’re in Cornwall!
My grandson chose this place to celebrate his 12th birthday tonite with close family, they could not have been more welcoming to us . The food was absolutly lovely and my grandson had the chance to experiment with lots of new flavours without the expense of ordering a big meal and not liking it , he now decided he likes many different dishes except just a chow main, a good idea to expand his taste buds at a brilliant price! I reccomend this to all new budding foodies out there .

Located up a flight of stairs, didn't see any lift and ladies loo is down some steps so not accessible.

The New Hong Kong is absolutely delicious, the food is always fresh and it's an extremely popular restaurant in Penzance. I've eaten at this place countless times and in my opinion, it's one of the best Chinese restaurants I've eaten at, not only for taste/freshness and quality but also value for money. I know we're in a pandemic at the moment and not sure if the buffet will ever reopen but if it does, I'd highly recommend. Although there's not tonnes of choice due to it being a small restaurant, they make up for this, again with the quality, taste, value etc. Anyway, if you're in Penzance and fancy a takeaway, you wont be disappointed in ordering from this lovely little gem! Oh, mine's a won ton soup, quick fried shredded chicken (delicious) and a Canton special fried rice, thanks for asking lol.
I love the choice of dishes here and the all you can eat, not that I go mad lol. The venue is great for a large group. The staff are friendly and polite.
