Popped into Lavenders today with my partner and had lunch which was homemade ham,cheese and tomato sandwich followed by a piece of cherry bakewell tart and a danish pastry,we bought 3 pasties to bring home and they were absolutely delicious,well worth a visit and the premises were absolutely spotless,you can see how they were awarded 5* hygiene rating.

Some donuts ect can be dry but sandwiches are very nice. Pastries are lovely. Staff are great. If you go in with multiple orders written down its all made fresh and given out in a timely manner. Staff are lovely

Saw lavenders advertised on fb thought thats a helliver deal. Had some delivered Nov. On our 4th delivery this week lol. They are blimming tasty. Lovely meat, nicely seasoned, nice spuds and turnip. The pastry reminds me of me mums pastys. What more can I say. My family love visiting us now, as they get welcomed with a fresh hot pasty straight from me oven. Happy days.
Had lunch here with my friend one afternoon - opted for the ploughman’s with a trio of Cornish cheeses. Delicious bread, salad, and homemade coleslaw. The selection of cheese contained Cornish yarg, Cornish blue, and Brie which was delicious! Service was fantastic also.
On the way out I spotted some freshly made Bakewell tarts - purchased one for my other half as he loves them and stated one of the best he ever had! Lovely selection of cheeses and pasties on the deli. Will definitely be back to visit!
They make the best pasty in the area. Period. Having had pasties in St. Ives, Porthcurno and elsewhere, the ones from Lavender stood out. The homemade sausage rolls were delectable too. Couldn't fault their food or staff, who were a delight to interact with. All in all, if you are in Penzance do stop by!
Wonderful deli and excellent tea room/Cafe, place for brunch, lunch or tea. They're one of the few places in Penzance /West Cornwall that serves fresh leaf tea! Their toasted sandwiches are sublime!

What a little diamond of a bakery. Got there Saturday just before closing. Managed to snag a medium pasty..they also do large and extra large. My London friend is wetting his pants at the thought of trying one of those mega pasty bad boys after his medium pasty experience! Which he loved. I had a slice of bacon quiche. Wow! Massive portion which is always good! 😁 and possible the best quiche I have ever tasted. Will definitely be back.
This place is the best for pasty’s and sandwiches I ordered a steak pasty and it is massive with so much filling the steak was nicely cooked and juicy so tender just melted in my mouth. The pastry it self was delicious 10/10 locals review
I must say that Lavenders in Longrock must be the best place ever, staff friendly, pasties fantastic, cooked baps a pleasure, Cornish tea "squished" is absolute perfection, a big thanks to Kerry, Rebbecca, Jane, and of course Vicky and all the girls in the back.
I ordered 80 large pasties for delivery Sunday 5th May, 12 noon, to be delivered to Tregantle Fort, Whitsand Bay for beach day after my older son Harry’s wedding day before. Andrew Lavender ( really nice guy) turned up 3 mins to 12, boxed pasties still warm from cooking earlier in morning. The pasties were great, easy to eat on beach and with bags for each, so many positive comment from our friends and guests who arrived en masse and thoroughly enjoyed, generous size and delicious. Thank you Andrew.
I purchased the Cornish pasties for a friends Cornish themed birthday , well I was more than impressed with just the packaging , I kept them in the fridge until the day , we warmed them up and was in heaven the pasties were delicious and the quality of the meat was 100% , well worth buying and won’t think twice about re ordering thank you 👍🏻😁
The best cornish Cheese I found it in Penzance. Great Customer experience thanks to the kind owner of the shop, I discovered the Nettle Yarg a Cornish Cheese which remind me the Italian Cheese.
