Went to visit these guys for lunch in Sennen today and have to say it was outstanding. We had the fully optioned bacon cheese-burger and the fish and chips - the burger was delicious and very substantial and the fish and chips were a revelation. Special mention here to the battered chips which would stand proud next to any other chip on the planet.
In short, great food served by lovely people who actually care about both what they're doing and the planet.
Can't recommend highly enough. Make sure you go there when hungry!!
Absolutely loved the potato and chickpea curry, and the two slices of cake I had (rhubarb crumble [vegan] and mint chocolate [vegan and gluten free ]) were to die for! So great as a vegan to be catered for and not to feel like I'm missing out! Will definitely recommend you to friends xxx
Vood Bar catered at my wedding, and we can not recommend her enough. So many compliments about the food from all the guests, even those that think vegan is just lentils and leaves and such great value for money, we had total confidence in Vood Bar communication was great and fitted around exactly what we wanted. If you have an event I Vood Bar may be the solution, I loved the down to earth and non-commercial approach taken.
What great food! Really nice menu of ‘traditional’ fare, made vegan, and made well! I had the ‘beef’ stew and my husband had the ‘beef’ burger, both of which were ace! We had some lovely sweet treat samples brought to us in the que too, I particularly enjoyed the psychedelic cheesecake!
Amazing food!! We all loved it and devoured every scrap. The kids loved their sausage and chips and me and hubby loved the Tofush and Chips and the Burger with cheese and bacon. All bloody gorgeous! Well worth the trip down from Glossop ���

Not being a vegan I was a bit apprehensive about what the food would be like but I needn't have worried. The food at taste of Vood evening was great yummy flavours, you could really taste the vegetables in the skewers. Really loved the satay sauce and as for Black Forest tart wow, sensational � �
A really varied taster meal that reflected all the hard work that had obviously gone into the Vood bar menu. Highlights for me were the Satay skewers and the chocolate cherry tart. Both delicious and packed with flavour. Considering this was Vood bars first evening serving the paying public, you did really well to keep on top of things. As meat eaters it was to Dani's credit that we all went away satisfied and not craving meat!
Non vegan here, tried the "fish" and chips-really impressed! Very tasty and great authentic fish'n'chips taste somehow! Also no plastic at all-essential with the state of the planet. Recommend everyone gives this great takeaway bar a go!

What joy in Truro tonight, to find the Vood Bar in Boscawen St. Had the best vegan burger I've ever tasted. Well done for running such a brilliant and ethical business.

Don’t follow the google maps directions, I did and ended up a hill completely lost 🙃 but it was solved easily with a phone call. They were very helpful and I found their van in a couple mins. I tried the burger and veggie & houmous wrap and both were finger licking (the burger was literally finger licking heheh). Plus the best Cornish vegan ice cream, to die for with these outstanding views.
Just tried the vood bar for the first time and had the vood burger. My dad had the tofu king burger and I’ve got to say it’s one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. 10/10 would recommend!
We had a really lovely burger and Seitan Kebab at Mousehole this evening. Super friendly and helpful folk serving pretty fast as well.
