Good beer friendly staff locals are very friendly and helpful pub is dog friendly proper pub in a world of plastic pubs. Hope to visit soon on next holiday down there.
Fantastic Sunday lunch, would definitely recommend this place for its food and welcome.
I use this pub as my local when ever i come down to visit Mother in Law about three to four Times a year. A great local pub very friendly peaple and out of this world good.
Been there a few times whilst on holiday in Feb and this week. Great food and a friendly welcome, well worth a visit!
Moved to St Buryan and found this lovely pub.
Food quality is great valve, staff are friendly and the atmosphere is amazing.
Lovely welcome and well kept beer. They even cooked us some food despite the kitchen being shut. Especially love all the memorabilia around the bar. Good chips!
A lovely pub, with exceptional service. My husband and I had a really tasty meal on our first evening in Saint Buryan. They have a good selection of choices on the menu and daily specials, of which we had the dessert.
A lovely ambience for evening drinks, tasting the variety of Cornish pints of Beer/larger/cider.
Hubby and I stayed at the Airbnb behind the pub. I can't praise the place enough, it's so cute and cleverly planned out.
The warm welcome and caring nature from the owners was faultless.
A beautiful place Saint Buryan ❣️
Firstly, can I say that this is an incredibly well managed establishment. The service was excellent and the waiting staff were extremely helpful and attentive.
The food was of a high standard, the haddock was cooked to perfection and it was very refreshing for my partner who is vegan, to actually have options to choose from, rather than the usual 'make it vegan' which seems to be customary these days. And the range of options generally was very good, with everything from seafood to burgers to pizzas.
So good, we've already rebooked for later in the week.
We were searching around the area for a good dinner and dropped into the St Buryan Inn on the off chance they would have a table, which they did! The food and service were all fantastic, it was great to eat in such a friendly atmosphere and have a good chat with (I think) the landlord about what we were up to in the area. He even moved the reserved sign so we could sit in the window. A lovely experience.
Lovely pub. The young lad who served us was very attentive and polite. Service was very fast and food was absolutely delicious - definitely recommend if you're near for dinner.
Walked from a campground a few miles away not expecting to find such a nice pub! Service was fast, the food tasted delicious and the atmosphere was friendly. Highly recommend if you are in the area!
Friendly family run pub and restaurant. Great menu with plenty of choice and variety. I had the moules frites and it was delicious. My family were just as pleased with their choices. Good local beers and nice quality wines.
Great menu with plenty of variety. Food was excellent and prices were good.
Staying in the village so popped in for a couple of drinks. Lovely clean pub , friendly staff & most importantly, a decent pint 👍
We had two meals here in the last week and both were excellent. My husband had the mussels twice and enjoyed them both times. We had a warm welcome from staff and the owner, Steve, and would highly recommend eating here to others.
Ate in the pub restaurant tonight and was very impressed. Warm welcome, a varied pub food menu and all at fantastic prices compared to other pubs nearby. Quick, friendly service and very nice fish and chips with a generously sized piece of fish. Nothing fancy, nothing pretentious, just good pub grub at a really good price, highly recommended.
Great food and good size portions. Staff are very friendly.
Had a Lovely meal here over the half term break. Booked in advance - don't forget to mention if your 4-legged friend(s) are joining you! Friendly staff and good selection of food.
Lovely warm atmosphere and the Haddock and chips to die for.
Good food, friendly atmosphere and good prices. The buryan beast pizza is very spicy so beware.
Really great sea bass and local crab salad, both delicious!
Absolutely wonderful Inn
Fantastic menu I couldn’t decide what to have as all looked wonderful. Food was prompt, very well presented and even better was the taste. Credit to the chef and happy friendly staff thank you - hopefully see you again soon. Cannot recommend enough 5 stars
Lovely village pup, they had a good variety of food which looked good and the usual drinks and a nice selection of beers.
We had a long walk and was very pleased to be greeted with a smile and cold drink.
There was a very friendly atmosphere from everyone. We had a lovely time there. ☺️
Fantastic service with a lovely table ready for us in the window. The service was polite, efficient and friendly We felt relaxed and un-rushed as we enjoyed our roast beef dinner. Our food was hot, fresh and cooked beautifully. We enjoyed being able to finish our bottle of wine in peace. Thank you 😊
Booked a table for 4 at this cosy fresh looking pub. Great menu very reasonable prices. The haddock & chips were excellent, good portion size, kids had burgers (light/children) portion great size and enjoyed. The deserts offered are all the what I call the 'old school' favourites... In addition to local clotted cream and special seasonal food. The host Steve is a charming, friendly and hospitable. Restrooms were lovely clean, fresh and pleasant. Sarah and Steve run a great place. We have booked again!
