Lovely, clean twin room with proper mugs for tea & coffee! Nicely decorated & super en suite. Owners were delightful. Woyld definitely stay there again

Stayed for two nights in August 2021 during a longer trip and have to say that it was the friendliest place I've ever stayed! Rooms are lovely, clean, and comfortable, but the staff really are what makes this place special. Huge thanks to all the staff for making our stay in Cornwall so memorable.

The staff were very friendly and approachable, the nightlife was brilliant however not too loud if you're staying as an overnight guest.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Fountain Tavern. All staff was extremely kind, helpful and polite. My husband stayed 2 nights and we found the room cosy and clean.
The location is also great as it is 10 minutes walk or less from the seafront and 5 minutes walk from the high street. Highly recomm
My visit in September 2021 the stay was amazing. Friendly and caring staff who valued our stay and were always helpful even just for the one night we stayed. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting penzance and wants something a little more than your usual chain hotel.
Spent a couple nights in Penzance and booked this place fairly last minute. Smooth checkin, friendly staff, room was clean and quiet. Continental breakfast was a perfect start to the day. No complaints.
Customer service very good, dogs allowed which was good as we had ours with us. The locals were very friendly as well, sports on the TV if you want. Just down the road from where we stayed so was very handy if we fancied a pint.
Truly loved my stay here, we had a beautiful room and the pub was quite cozy. The staff was very friendly and proudly announced that they have over 70 types of gin. If I were to come back to Penzance I'd surely stay here again.

Lovely place, glad it's reopened and in such capable hands. It's clean and I've no complaints about the drinks are cheaper than other pubs in the area. Ray and Sarah have worked really hard and it's paid off well done. Friendly crowd and there's a screen for sporting events too
