Beautiful 'savoury tea' cheese scone, lovely side salad, rice dish, chutney, and tasty cheddar, with a pot of tea. Delish!

Best & hottest latte I've had in a long time! Sunday lunch is worth it too, hot & tasty. Vegetarian option was super. Classy & friendly cafe in a good location playing excellent music too.

You Made My Day Arrived late to the district and found that most of the restaurants were closed at 3pm, which was crazily early. Had no other choice but get seated in this cafe. The only restaurant that close later than the rest. The food was surprisingly tasty. So hot and so fresh. Different style with reasonable price. Would try other things in the menu next time. It's a place that shouldn't be underestimated. What a shame. Such a stunning tourist district but most of the restaurants and shops close so early. Good luck to Hallys Bistro and wish you the best!

We've been here a few times and it's always been a pleasant experience. You have to wait outside to be seated but they always attend to you very quickly. The times we've been it's always been busy and we've had to sit outside, which has been fine as the weather wasn't too bad and they have outside heaters. Usually we just have coffee, but we have breakfast on one visit, a Halloumi panini and eggs benedict, both were absolutely delicious and presented really nice. Staff were nice & friendly and from seeing them interact with other customers, very accommodating and will bend over backwards to meet requests. Hopefully if we return to the area we can come back.

Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent service and food. I have been to Hellys several times and have always found the food to be excellent and the staff very friendly. They have a 5 star food hygiene rating I observed they have a strick staff policy to clean every table thoroughly each time new customers arrive. In my opinion it's one of the best Bistros I have been too and would recommend it unreservedly to anyone..

Really lovely gem we happened upon quite by accident. Staff lovely, food very original, especially the milkshakes and cocktails! Highly recommend the smoked mackerel eggs benedict. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

This was such a pleasant surprise as it is placed on a busy street opposite a car park and wouldn't have been our first port of call. However, the food was beautifully fresh and so flavoursome with really lovely choices on the menu. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic. It's really worth a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Went on a Sunday and they managed to fit us in within 10 minutes of us arriving. Excellent service and great choices. Was surprised that it offered Sunday Dinners, my son ordered the large Sunday dinner and it looked amazing. As I was Gluten Free I was a bit sceptical but I was amazed at the choices offered to me. In the end I only wanted something light so I ordered the toastie and it came with a salad and I have to say it was the best toastie I have ever tasted! I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be returning in the future. Fantastic Staff and very helpful, and the choices of food was impeccable.

Lovely place to eat, great staff and nice location on penzance harbour and a stones throw away from the main town and parking. The burgers are cooked to perfection and very tasty. Upgrade the wedges to the cheesy wedges as they are really good. Lots of different flavoured smoothies to try and a big selection of meals. Both breakfast and lunch menus.

First time visiting Penzance and not knowing the area we turned to Google Maps for ideas for lunch. We decided to come to Hellys Deli Bar Cafe and we were not disappointed! The staff were lovely, lots of choice and the food delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

A wonderful eatery providing delicious home cooked food and drinks. We have holidays at Penzance the last three years and do not eat anywhere else. Service is friendly and professional and Hellys represents excellent value for money. Pet friendly also, Coco thoroughly enjoyed her visits as well! 5 stars, very well done!

A #vegan oasis. There are 5 in my family group. 3 are vegan 1 meat eater and 1 that will eat whatever I fancy at the time. We had been to 3 Pasty shops in the High Street (starting at the very top) all of which do vegan pasties. The meat eater and myself immediately no problem getting something. The remaining 3 vegans were told nothing available with 1 giving the option for us to wait for more to be cooked. Hellys Deli was the last chance before we gave up and went back to the car, and we struck gold. I had a sweet potato sausage roll, others had a Cauliflower and Tumeric Pastie with sweet potatoe fries, and the last one a Hummus and Red Pepper Sandwich. The food was fantastic, the waitress was attentive and made a real effort to make sure we got the best options available, and the Covid safety precautions were properly followed and not just a token gesture. We were really pleased to have found it and have added it to other specialist vegan review sites.

Pricy but tasty! Something worth noting about Penzance in general - by 16:30 everything seems to close. Done. The milkshake was amazing, turning up looking like a work of art. We had cream tea and the scones were melty smooth, delicious. Would have liked a bit more punch to the preserve but it was still good.
