The whole experience was lovely. The food was amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. Initially it was quite cool in the restaurant but it did warm up.
Very good value and food is usually good quality, the turkey dinner was excellent, but the salmon starter was overwhelmed with too much horseradish, even though a generous portion of salmon. Lovely, different and usual food. Some portions too big eg the pheasant pate and the snacks. Some too small, the miniscule portions of potato with the chicken. It was a wet day and slightly chilly in the restaurant.
Went here for first time this evening and couldn't believe just how amazing it was. Food was spectacular - better than many acclaimed restaurants in Cornwall - and service was excellent. Would recommend highly and we will be back asap too
