Called in on the off chance and although it was very busy the young lady found a table for my wife and I and was very attentive through out the whole of the evening. Our food was superb as it always has been, this is our "go to" restaurant when ever we are down in Penzance, approximately three or four times a year.

Bislang der beste Fisch und leckerste Dessert in Penzance. Sehr nettes und schnelles Personal. Gemütliche Athmosphäre. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Parkplatzsituation ist etwas schwierig.

This is a casual restaurant, that everyone in Penzance should visit. The menu is extensive but with an emphasis on fish. I had the prawns as a starter, and they were firm and tasty. For the main I had the whole Brill it was amazing, well cooked and moist. My wife had the burger, it was huge, make sure you are hungry to take this. The staff were great. Local produce used and fresh.

Had a lovely evening at The Boatshed for our last day of our Holidays to Penzance. We had stopped nearby and spotted the place walking past during the week and checked out the menu and reviews made us book a table for the evening. Although the website mentioned that seating was catered for around 6 people they managed to squeeze 7 of us on a table without difficulty. We all enjoyed the food, meals arrived together with good timings for all courses. Friendly staff and nice, clean environment. Would recommend a visit if your in the area.

Great restaurant on the front at Penzance. We sat outside, so it was a little noisy due to the working docks, but it didn't spoil the atmosphere. The food was great. We really enjoyed the seafood options they have.

Here I found the possible best Fish & Chips in the entire UK to my preference. The beer battered was coated well with the fish and it supered crispy. Generally, elsewhere here, I found the coating was quite soft and oily (which made me previously believe that the UK’s Fish & Chips must traditionally be served soak in oil) Their fish also entirely fresh so I strongly recommend any fish dish here. The staffs were nice and friendly. However, the food was super slow. If you are free the entire afternoon, this please could offer you the five-star meal experience. If you are in the trip that have the strict plan and are hungry, this place could ruin the trip and make you feel like the food take the eternity to prepare.

Had prawns and calamari as starters; whole sea bass, salad and chips; mussels and ordered chicken goujons for my daughter. Sea bass was good, prawns and calamari were also good, mussels were delicious - fresh and a great white wine sauce to go with it; chicken goujons were quite dry. Overall dinner was good and at a decent price.

Omg! What a find!! The girls serving us were so friendly and warm. The food is divine! We had the fish and chips. Chips were the best ever! The Cornish trio - sooo good! Mixed starters or calamari, olives and crayfish. Mussels were sublime! And the prices were very very reasonable.

An excellent seafood spot in Penzance! We discovered The Boatshed while strolling through the harbour and decided to come for lunch since there was fresh fish advertised on the menu. Everything was delicious - we tried the Cornish sole, sea bass fillets and the lemongrass mussels! Oh, and the cherry on top was the dessert - amazing apple and blackberry crumble with a generous serving of custard. Nice atmosphere and friendly service as well. Would recommend to anyone, looking for fresh, deliciously prepared fish in the area.

This was an amazing place to eat with my family when we went on a trip to Cornwall.Reservations are the norm, but unfortunately we weren't aware, but still had the opportunity to dine there.I had a grilled whole sea bass, which was really good.We had an amazing waitress who also told us places to visit like St Michael's Mount. It was absolutely great!

We visited Penzance passing through. Stopped for a walk along the promenade and then went looking for somewhere for lunch. Came across this place whilst actually looking for somewhere else. Now I'm not a massive fan of seafood, but when in Rome (or rather Penzance) had a look and gave it a try. We ordered a selection of things to share between me and my partner. The food was outstanding. Absolutely delicious. Fresh and tasty. I rarely tip when eating out but this place was worth it. We ordered mussels as a starter, a tapas platter of prawns and calamari, and fishcakes. The service was good also. My only very small negative would be location. We sat outside and the road next to the restaurant was busy and noisy at times but didn't dampen our experience. Well worth a visit for some mouthwatering seafood. We will definitely stop by again next time we are down in Cornwall!!
