Lovely place to eat. Friendly staff. Our waiter was very Polite. My husband had the mushrooms to start. And couldn’t taste any brandy in the sauce. He did mention it to the waiter. I had steak as a main. I felt the steak was pretty fatty. The rest of the meal was lovely. Great pub. I loved the personal touch with family photos on the wall.
Staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was well presented, and tasted like the chef cared about every bite. I would highly recommend a visit. I will definitely be going back for seconds.
The food was delicious, from starter to dessert, and the service was absolutely perfect! The outdoor space is ideal to enjoy the end of a sunny day, and our dog loved her visit. Would 100% recommend!
Great meal out with my WI, several of us had not been before but will certainly go again, in fact my husband and I are taking two friends for their wedding anniversary soon

I’ve nearly given up trying British food but today this mint lamb pie after a fabulous patè starter completely changed my mind. Beautiful plates, all (7) of us enjoyed our meals and drinks, and the reasonable price is on top of the experience 😊

We had a very lovely evening at the Nant Y Felin tonight, thank you Vicky, Rob and the staff. This is a real find - excellent quality food, beautifully prepared, in a welcoming and gently stylish atmosphere. The sourdough is fabulous, and I've never had a dessert more lovely than the toasted hazlenut icecream.
We had children with us, and it was so nice to find a really place that serves really high quality, locally sourced food that was also somewhere you can eat as a family.

Excellent venue. Experienced front of house staff, made us feel welcome. Service was faultless. Food was delicious..we all (6) had the Sunday roast. The lamb was pink and very good...the veg were crisp and perfectly cooked ãl dentê... Yorkshire pudding excellent! A thoroughly enjoyable meal .

Incredibly tasty food in a relaxed informal friendly atmosphere. If you love simple fresh ingredients cooked to perfection, then this is the place for you. Fine dining tastes without the pompous.
Travelling on a friday evening from north to south wales with a friend, heading for a chippy in ruthin. Saw this place and looked open so did a quick turn in.....glad we did!! Excellent staff and food. Got busier as we were there and can see why!!

Food: would really recommend the Welsh steak burger. My partner doesn't typically like beef burgers but loved this dish. Every component was delicious. The seafood paella wasn't amazing but still good. The desserts options are great.
Service: really friendly service, took great care of our dog and brought biscuits and water.
Atmosphere: we booked via the website/email which was very easy to arrange. Was seated in the "dog friendly" area so had the whole area to ourselves. Very nice place.
High class food in a friendly cosy restaurant. Real food cooked to perfection. Exquisite & thoughtful combination of flavours, a real joy for the tast buds! Very reasonable prices considering the very high standard of food. Sorry we only found you on the last day of our holiday but we would love to visit again!
Real chef cooking amazing food that combines together really well. The food is real high class, worth loads more than what you pay! Can't wait visit again soon, highly highly recommend!
