This pub was opposite my guest house, so having a drink and strolling back to the guest house was great. Luckily this is a very nice pub. It has a good choice of real ale and nice find for the good lady. I didn't get to try out the food but as it went past me on it's way to the happy customers, it did look very good.

Really enjoyed the food here and service was great, our meals were served piping hot and were delicious. We ended up getting a chocolate fudge cake and ice cream to share for pudding which was fantastic.

Lovely pub, we had a very friendly welcome. We were shown to a table then ordered drinks and food. Our drinks were brought to the table for us and after a short wait our food arrived. The portions were generous and tasted delicious. This was pub food done really well. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend this pub highly. Will definitely visit again x

Visited on a wet and windy Sunday at around 4pm, not a lot of people, but that means plenty of parking. The service was fantastic, and all staff very friendly. Portion sizes were great, very filling. We had fish and chips, the fish had a lovely light batter and didn't taste overly oily. The chips were super fluffy and warm on the inside while maintaining a crispy outer shell. Even after the filling mains we decided to share desserts between the three of us. The lemon pie was delicious, not too sweet and not too tart. The chocolate cake was not dry and served warm, was not too heavy either.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food tasted great and the portions generous. The suet pudding was second to none and the Earl Grey Lemon Drizzle cake was outstanding. The Vaynol Arms is our new favourite place to eat.

Pint of Robinsons Wizard, exceptional. Burger n chips, not bad at all. Sticky toffee pudding, fair size and very good! Not bad prices at all either. No hesitation in going again and will try the other ales/beers next time with less food 😁

Ate here twice whilst staying in the area. The roast seemed bottomless and was gorgeous. The second meal was just as delicious. Lovely welcoming staff. I'd definitely go back if ever in the area.

Arrived just as a coach load of people were leaving. After a quick clean up we managed to get a table for 6. Food was really good, fresh and well cooked and served piping hot. Prices were reasonable as well.

Some of the best food I have had in a long time. Staff are extremely friendly and offer a warm welcome. Can’t fault it in any way. Strongly recommend eating here.

Went there for an evening meal with the kids whilst on holiday. Nice village setting, decor a little tired but very clean. Found the staff polite. Felt a bit more like going into a bistro than a pub but cannot fault the food it was lovely.

A very nice pub with a good menu and great friendly staff. We visited this place twice last week when we were in the area on holiday. I felt that both meals were exceptional. The black pudding and bacon started is amazing and would happily have it every time were there not other tempting starters on the menu. Their gammon and chips main. Had a real nice thick piece of gammon, not your usual thin cheap gammon you get in most places. I was also able to eat most of the Vanol arms mixed grill only leaving the chips, but managed all the amazing meats on offer. The small downside was I found the chips to be a bit of a disappointment on both occasions, they were very potatoe and not as crisp as I would expect. The staff were very friendly and professional and the wait time on food was less than I would have expected. The place is cosy yet stylish and I would recommend to anyone in the area.

Lovely pub, great cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food at a very reasonable price, well worth finding and definitely on my list of places to go again. Excellent variety of food, between the four of us we had soup (10/10) and roll (also 10/10), egg and chips, pizza made to choice, and scampi and chips. The soup in particular was a gastronomical delight!

All the bad reviews are wrong! This pub is the best pub in the whole of the uk and that’s coming from and Englishman, The staff are very kind and helpful especially Hayley who went out above and beyond to help us out today! The food we ordered was lovely. The staff and the local community are lovely people and every one climbing Snowdon should defiantly pop In and have a pint, you will not regret it I just want to say a massive thankyou to everyone involved in finding my keys today, I couldnt thank you all enough.
