We visited today. Lovely pub, great history and stunning food. We just found it on our way bk from Penhurst place and so happy we did. Staff is really friendly & welcoming. We will be back.
Thursday lunchtime. A pleasant welcome with the offer to take any table that was not laid up. A quirky pub on different levels with many different areas off of a general open plan. Two real ales on offer including the very local Larkin's. We were well looked after being served both food and beer at
Lovingly made Sunday roast with lots of different menu options catering for all sorts. Atmosphere relaxed and mixed crowds, kids and dog friendly. Located in beautiful hilly Kent countryside with lots of footpaths around the area. Definitely coming back here!!! 👍🏻😃

This wasn't our planned stop, for walking in this fantastic area of natural beauty. Despite not having a reservation, the two of us were given a warm welcome and seated on a good sized table for two. This is clearly a great place to eat. So for a larger group I'd suggest making a reservation. I will
Had a lovely evening meal with my siblings as treating mum for her 75th. Food and service was exceptional. Also has a lovely outside seating area where you can listen to the sounds of the countryside and watch the world go by...
Beautiful quaint place where food is delicious. Our service was great, very quick and friendly. Will definitely be back! The only downside is there isn't much parking at the pub itself, may have to find parking on the road.
Beautiful country pub with real character, fantastic staff and extremely good quality food. The burger is as good as they come, the food is clearly given consideration, skill and high quality ingredients. I have been here quite a few times and this place is consistently very good.
Ate here for dinner, beautifully decked out for the jubilee. Staff incredibly attentive and friendly. We had the pie of the day, and a pizza. Lovely local place that had local beer on tap and local wine advertised.
Just had the most amazing Sunday dinner that I had for a very long time.
Food was excellent and and large portions.
Thoroughly recommend it will be going back.
