Lovely cafe and foodhall. Brilliant range of options in the foodhall but dont expect a bargain, would make for a good weekend treat shop! Customer service is very good. Good location just of the dual caradgeway for a breakfast stop. 👍

Our new favourite place to stop on long motorway journeys. The cafe is extremely good, with one of those menus where everything looks tempting, and the food hall is chock full of delights. Can be a little pricey but you certainly get what you pay for.

Delicious food and great service, although maybe on the pricy side. The cafe had a great selection of tray bakes and cakes, as well as main meals using local produce. The shop was well stocked with interesting produce. More expensive than an average cafe but definitely worth it. Child friendly too.

A light airy cafe above the Cranstons store. Offers good snackish and breakfast food all day, plus coffee and cakes. Good selection of beverages including several types of tea. Averagely priced. Knocked off a star for service as although prompt and courteous there were no smiles and manner slightly offhand. Had to ask for sugar for coffee, and no other condiments on table or offered - salt and pepper would have been nice. All in all though a nice spot for a tasty snack.

Excellent food hall with local product. Very wide range of meats, sausage, bacon etc. Excellent cooked meats, pies and sandwiches too. Artisan bread, local beers, what's not to like. Staff in food Hall chatty and friendly. Cafe upstairs is excellent, too. Friendly professional staff, with table service and good, fresh food. Recommended.

I did find quite a few gluten free options and there's plenty for people to choose from, at reasonable prices too. The breakfast box is recommended too.

Excellent breakfast, the service was great. The foodhall was also very well stocked. We now have another spot to add to our list when we travel to Scotland.

Food was wonderful, service was phenomenal (although we didnt initially realise it was a "make your own way to pay" kinda place). We went at 1pm on a Sunday, so quite a lot of kids which wasn't ideal, but I guess our timing was bad! Would highly recommend the Eggs Royale.

Amazing Quality Butchery. Stopped here when visiting the Lake District in 2020. Have had deliveries to my home in Fife since. Stopped in March 2023 got a great value takeaway lunch to eat before finishing our journey home from York and stocked up on burgers, sausages, pork pies and a couple of ready meals too. Great Selection and Great Quality
