Good mcdonalds, conveniently located 3 mins from the motorway. Helpful staff and good food. Would have liked some more veggie options as it was really just the cheese and egg mcmuffin for breakfast. Overall good, and has a view of penrith Castle.
Wonderful staff, great food. For a cheap hotel it really is great. I've always had a fab time when I've stayed here. Staff really do go above and beyond!! Clean and tidy rooms too.
Have been here a few times. Can be busy with the train station nearby. Parking is okay. Staff seem lovely and helpful as I witnessed someone with the wrong order and they sorted it out efficiently.
A bit slow, but actually glad to wait. The food was hot and fresh, just how it's meant to be. Well done guys

Great food super fast service very clean
nice and cheap if staying in local hotels which were going to cost £40 for brekfast for 2 !!!
Standard fast food outlet, good views of the castle and right in spitting distance of the train station make it ideal for a bite to eat while waiting for your train.
Very interesting castle remains, original layout of the rooms is visible and some very high walls still standing, evidently built in 1400s.
Went to the drive through always busy they had colleagues outside taking orders great idea easier to talk directly to your server. Also the first window the server asked for order to double check we handed him our written order he was delighted. Wish everyone did this so much easier. . Thanks for gr
Small car park, some outside seating, got tablets for kids, got free ketchup but run out when i was.
Our food and service were very good. Rather cold inside, though.
Nice chips and food etc ... Good first visit to the Penrith site. Busy at 6pm but quietened down by the time we left. Helpful staff on at the time!
