A short walk from the railway station brought me here - an impressive wetherspoons. I had a very good breakfast and a Japanese beer for under £10. Food cooked to the right temperature and service was swift and efficient. It might be difficult to beat this one in Cumbria.

A nice JD Wetherspoon pub directly behind the Premier Inn. The food was spot on and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The prices were also very reasonable indeed. Thank you! ☆☆☆☆

Loved it and will be back again, it was a great retreat after the wonders of Winter Droving which we loved, food, drink n atmosphere was spot on X Finished the evening off well, very lucky to grab one of the last tables as was very busy due to the festival.

This is an Enormo-Spoons which unfortunately must have contributed to the demise of many other pubs in Penrith. Saying that, service was spot on, so too my pint 👍🏻

It's well located near the town center and a huge carpark nearby... one of the nicest wetherspoons we been to...its clean and tidy throughout!! The place is spacious and have plentyof comfortable seating. Beer garden is a plus during the nice season.. ...cold season now comes with a nice log fire place is lovely and cozy. We were greeted with friendly and efficient service staff during our visit and the lunch meal is great 👍value; delicious and freshly prepared 😋 we would recommend this place and come back again

We called in here for breakfast. The place was very clean and tidy, staff were all friendly and polite. We had breakfast muffins and refillable tea and coffee. Food was great, cooked perfectly, and the price was excellent. Will definitely return!

Its a good and cheap place to eat in the lakes. Food was fast and was very nice. Only downside was there was a lot of noise and quite a lot of people drinking around us when we were eating. Maybe should consider having a drinking part and restaurant eating only section. Especially when you have children with you. But all in all was good tasty food. I would visit again. Just make sure I'm not near a drinking party.

Got to Penrith 2 hours early work work so popped in for Breakfast and a coffee. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Place was clean and warm, food was excellent and when I went up for a coffee refill I was reminded that it was free refils. Would recommend.

Very reasonably priced food and drinks. Staff were friendly. Pizza as usual, was lovely. Probably one of the best pizzas I've had.

We had an early evening meal, and ordered via the app, which worked very well. Our food and drinks came pretty quickly. There was even room for a dessert. No complaints at all.

My only criticism with this pub is there are not enough staff behind the bar (my opinion of course), otherwise it's a great place and what you come to expect from Wetherspoon's. The cask ales are outstanding and at fantastic prices. Food was good, well priced and enjoyable.

Breakfast was lovely and far cheaper than other wetherspoons we have visited. We had a problem ordering with the app and it took a while to sort out, but it was fine eventually. Only one coffee machine working so quite a long queue.

Came here with family and had a meal each and drinks. We ordered a small pizza, halloumi fries, all day brunch and the beyond burger then 2 large Pepsi max and 3 refillable hot drinks. We ordered and paid via the QR code on the front of the menu. The drinks came quickly enough and the food also which was nice. The food was nice, the only thing I’d say is that the halloumi fries and pizza were too well done and a bit burnt but the rest of the food was nice. The beyond burger isn’t what you would expect with its name, it is just literally a veggie burger, not the branded style “Beyond Burger”. I like how you can get the free refillable hot drinks and I think that’s one of the main reasons we like to go to a Wetherspoons. Only thing about this location is it doesn’t have its own car park. There is a very small pay and display one opposite that charges £1 an hour which isn’t bad at all but just bare this in mind if you are on a budget. 2 hours was more than enough for us to eat and drink without rushing. We put an hour on then went back out to add another. If you do it using the app then you can add extra on from inside anyway. This Wetherspoons was quite a nice one anyway. It seemed to have plenty of staff and wasn’t long between ordering and getting our food. We left feeling full and was overall happy with the experience! Thank you

Stunning terrace area. Very reasonable prices. Cheaper than most spoons. E.g. one shot of bells cost 99p. Great deals available. Traditional breakfast is £3.50. Would highly recommend a visit.

Had a chuckle at some of the reviews on here. A very deceiving building from the outside. Looks like a small country pub but when walking in has a tremendous interior. Set upon 3 floors, with the bar on the ground floor. A large seating area with an array of furniture including booths with dimming lights for that more romantic date night. From what I could see there weren't many staff on the floor however the girl who served us was very attentive asking twice if everything was alright with the food. She seemed to do most of the running around which is a common scene in a spoons pub. We had no problems with the food however the condiment area was sparce and with what I can only hope was a burst tomato sauce sachet all over the ketchup, as picking up sticky packets is not a fun experience. Definately not the worst experience I've had as some reviews have stated. Left feeling full and hydrated. Good for a typical spoons.
