Cosy place, comfortable rooms, great pub/restaurant and friendly staff.

Stopped off at a whim to see if they had a dog friendly room available, Really helpful gave us the choice of 2 rooms ,breakfast was really good Had a few drinks and a meal in the bar on the night food was great and staff where exceptional. Will definitely be back

Fantastic place to stay on a cycle tour, very bike friendly with secure indoor storage, and laundry room for kit. Rooms very comfortable, great food and country pub feel in the bar. Location excellent in the Eden Valley just at the base of Hartside.

Excellent place for traditional yet fantastic food. The Brie wedges are the best we’ve ever had and the chips are also just incredible. Friendly staff too and it’s nice and cozy to sit in the bar area. Will be back for sure!

Lovely location. We went for dinner only. Dog friendly and very welcoming. Food was freshly prepared. Nice sunny beer garden.

Lovely hotel set in the countryside. Peaceful and beautiful area. Spacious, clean and well presented rooms. Comfy beds. Good breakfast. Plenty of parking. We stayed 2 nights and have no complaints at all!

Nice hotel. Picture of exterior doesn't do it justice. Good base for exploring/ Hill walking/ Biking. Nice bar & food.

First rate service every time I stay there and that's at least once a month. The rooms are a little dated but spotless and homely. Food is excellent, I strongly recommend the fish and chips.
