We stayed in the deluxe super king room for 3 nights, was absolutely perfect! We decided to stay an extra night but the room wasn't available so had to downsize to a double. We didn't mind because the hotel and staff are soo nice! However we paid the same price for the double as we did the deluxe super king room, which was very weird, considering the deluxe super king had a lot more benefits, (tea&coffee)

What a find. My husband & I were travelling back from a short break away & stopped off in Penrith for a bite to eat before heading back home. Lovely ambience, great service but best of all the food. We both had the fish & chips & we were not disappointed. Presentation was fab, probably the best we've ever had. If we're ever in the area again, we will certainly pay a visit to Foundry-34.

Lovely Mother's Day lunch. Chocolate brownies are amazing! Second meal here this year and would definitely recommend to friends

Had my baby shower here on 15th of October! Was perfect and can't thank the staff enough who we're working that day, couldn't do enough for us! The service and food was excellent. Thanks �

My husband brought me here for the night on Saturday and it was fantastic. Food was amazing, lovely room, staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful and the entertainment was brill too.

Great food ,great food ,great food , great food

We had an evening meal here on a Sunday. The food was very good other than the flatbread was way too big and would have been fine at half the size. The waiting on staff were very friendly and attentive and the guy strumming his guitar kept us entertained. Definitely recommend

Great place, lovely and clean and friendly staff, food is excellent! The breakfast is massive and will certainly set you up for the day! Comfy bed, decent shower and in a great location in the town! I everything is just a short walk away so yeah! Great spot

We visited here on our weekend away in the Lake District. We did reserve a table here as we were visiting on a Saturday night and as we walked in there was actually only one table left, which was our table. There is more seating upstairs though, but that also seemed busy. It was a lovely evening with good food and entertainment. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff that assisted us to our table and gave us a drinks menu and food menu. Both menus offered a wide range of choices, something for everyone from cocktails to mocktails on the drinks menu, and curry's to burgers and wraps on the food menu. We opted for a bottle of Sauvignon to drink which was very easy drinking. For starters we ordered the garlic, prawn and chorizo pil pil, this was very tasty but not the same as a traditional pil pil we’ve had before in Spain. It had less garlic and chilli, and peppers instead. For the mains we ordered the chicken katsu curry and the BBQ pulled pork and mozzarella wrap. The portions were large and great value for the money, they were also very tasty too. We also ordered a dessert despite being very full from the starter and main but we’re glad we did! We opted for the biscoff waffle and an Affogato. The Affogatto wasn’t actually on the menu but was served upon our request, which was great service! Both of the desserts were delicious. When we arrived at the restaurant we noticed that there was going to be a live singer that evening. By 9pm the restaurant had evolved from being a nice casual restaurant to a lovely bar where the singer had people up dancing and singing along, it was amazing entertainment! We booked for 7:30pm which was timed perfectly for the entertainment starting after we finished our meal, any later and we may have been eating as the lively entertainment started. We did also order a mojito which unfortunately was quite disappointing, being extremely syrupy with lots of sugar at the bottom, but other than that we have absolutely no reason to fault this place. The service, staff, food, value and entertainment were all brilliant and if we ever return to the Lake District, we will certainly visit here again.

Went for a special lunch deal. 8 of us. Had to book in advance. Meal and unlimited drinks. Table service only. To be fair, the girls worked their butts off keeping everyone topped up. And the food was gorgeous. As ever. Very, very impressed. Well worth the money. Had a fantastic time!

Lively on a Friday night. Family friendly. Good food. Good service.
