Lovely little pub we came across on our travels. Managed to fit us in for lunch at new year. The steak pie and homemade chips were delicious! Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, highly recommend!

Visited this pub because I wanted see the house where my grandfather was born. But, as it was Sunday, we decided to also have lunch - WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE! The slow cooked lamb (cooked 6 hour Saturday and 3 hrs before serving) was the star of the lunch - best lamb we have ever eaten. Great lunch
