Great little restaurant, friendly staff, good segregation, excellent food choices, superb decor, Canadian Burger 🍔😋👌 is a must but make sure you are hungry. Car parking available. A MUST VISIT enroute to or from the Lakes. Great taste in background music with Lady A playing in the background.
Exceptional welcome, we saw another 5* review and booked immediately, we were looking for a nice quality meal on route from Aberdeen to Somerset near M6, we phoned 4 hours ahead and the staff reserved a table and made sure we had roast beef dinner for two prepared for us as we arrived, although the premises were due to close, the staff still honoured our booking even though we were late, checking on our experience throughout the meal and at the end, ensuring we were comfortable and happy with our experience, staff prepared takeaway coffee for our onward journey. All other meals served around us looked really nice and plentiful. Also recommend continuing journey on A66 via Orton back to M6, stunning countryside and views.
Food was very nice, service was great and quick. If you just want a quick stop and a cheap option, then this is not the place. If you want a nice environment and don't mind paying a bit extra then this is the place
Stopped here on route to our holiday cottage as a change from the normal motorway fare. Well worth the detour, fabulously presented food, generous portions and cooked to perfection.
1 of the best beef dinners I've had. The gravy is beautiful . The staff are really helpful and the service was quick
Wow very friendly, great place,we came here for a pit stop ,and the food was soooooo amazing and fresh,me and the family loved it.
Amazing food. Excellent service and great staff
Lovely meal and not to expensive, service was a bit slow but nothing to really complain about
Been twice this week going again on Thursday, staff excellent, food superb, wine list small but excellent.
Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a fantastic meal…
Plenty of very nasty reviews for this restaurant I noticed, all because people wish to pop in and use the toilet, sorry but it’s a restaurant and if I was enjoying a meal the last thing I would want is a trail of people wandering back and forth to the loo, however, it’s says it’s a cafe & Bistro, cafes are places you can pop into to have a quick coffee and use the loo, so if It where mine I would remove the cafe part of the name and I think this would remove a huge amount of negativity surrounding a fantastic culinary delight…..A great find and very highly recommended.
Top 5* experience. We were a family of 5. The staff were young but super friendly and attentive. Main courses (duck, lamb, pork belly) were very well presented, great portion size and tasted amazing. Coleslaw and vegetables sides were tasty too. My Eton Mess was again well presented and good amount of fresh berries. We ate early 6:15 so service was well paced. Would highly recommend The Bridge, nicest dinner I have had in a long time.
