We came for a joint 40th and 8th birthday celebration. We had a fabulous welcome and nothing was too much trouble. A delicious meal for eight people, who all left full and happy! Thank you all very much for a wonderful evening.

Lovely, friendly staff and delicious food. My son is gluten free and he had plenty of choice as they could make many of the meals glueten free without making you feeling awkward.

Sunday lunch for three. All of us had roast pork which was beautifully cooked with a good range of vegetables including mashed swede and carrot and shredded savoy with bacon. Service was attentive and speedy. We'll definitely be returning.

Great local pub with great food . Found the pub via Google and Trip Adviser, so booked a table for two and took a short drive up to the pub. Food was really good and we had the option of eating it in the pub or the set dining area. Portions are quite big! My main which was a chicken burger was so big i wish i did not order a starter. I would give this place 5 stars. A local gem!

We booked in for Sunday lunch in early October 2023 for 5 very hungry adults. It was an amazing meal all round first class with plenty of meat and veg, etc, for us all and the desserts we had where also first class with plenty on the plate as well. Drinks also very reasonable prices but we where blown away by the quality of produce cooking and service provided to us all while there so I nearly dropped off my chair when the bill came as it worked out at £25 a head 😀 including the food and drinks. We had 2 rounds of them, too. We will be back for more very soon as we care due back in the area in November.

We were invited to take a seat in the bar with our trainee guide dog. We decided against the menu choice in favour of the specials board. Service was nicely paced and the food was delicious. Picture is of my garlic mushrooms on chia batts. This was followed by liver and onions on mash: 10/10

We found this place today on the off chance and wow, we loved it! So cosy and warm with the fire. The food was incredible, and really well presented. The ladies serving couldn't do enough for us, super friendly and chatty. They welcomed my dog and they all made a fuss of him and gave him treats and water ❤️. We will definitely be coming back here for food while we explore the surrounding area with the church and castle next to it.

A friend and I called at the Six Bells in Penmark for the first time today, and what a truly wonderful surprise! The interior is pleasant and nicely decorated. The two ladies serving were very friendly and helpful. The meal was far and away the best I have had in a pub in a very, very long time. It really was excellent! The prices are very reasonable. When many pubs and restaurants serve poor to mediocre food, at over the top prices, it is an absolute joy to have found the Six Bells. From now on I intend to be a very frequent visitor.

Stayed overnight in the car park in our motorhome with friends. Lovely cosy, friendly village pub. Amazing food and great atmosphere. Pat and the staff are so welcoming will definitely be back again. Had the specials off the board and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the food and evening.

Had a family meal here after I convinced my family to try somewhere new (I have already visited many times). The service was amazing, such lovely servers, great with the children. Food impeccable as always and for only a few pounds more than the awful frozen food in a chain pub, it's such amazing value. Highly recommend to anyone and well worth the drive if you are not from the village.
