Lovely, helpful lady looking after us with coffee and scones.. Tasty food and refreshing tea. Lots of interesting items for sale to raise funds for the Sanctuary, quite a few new. However, although there is a lovely seating area for the cafe, set back behind a couple of very crowded dress rails, I did feel a bit cramped and claustrophobic and strangely uncomfortable with folk searching through the rails immediately behind my chair. It was strange that the servery was the other side of the clothing rails...it just felt that it would have been much more comfortable to have all the fundraising items at the back with tables and chairs closer to the servery.. It was a surreal experience.
