Review Betty's Cafe - Penmaenmawr

Tried this cafe for brunch. Great decision. We had full Welsh breakfast, inc. Sausage, bacon, eggs, tomato, mushrooms, beans, super thick toast and a pot of tea (served in proper tea pot and cups). Kids had sausage & bacon butties (on super thick bread). All food was excellent, good portions, and all for a very reasonable price. Cash only. Really nice old fashioned cafe / tea room and really nice staff. Would definitely recommend.

We walked to the village from the Tyddn Du campsite which is about a mile away along the old road. It's cash only but huge helpings and great value. If I am lucky enough to return I'll make sure I haven't had any breakfast beforehand. I'll then have a go at the full breakfast.

Welsh hospitality at its best! Enjoyed a perfect pot of tea as the sun came out. Willingly moved tables to make room for a group of four ladies and in the process had a nice chat with Roz as she knew a bit about Canada. Tuna melt was tasty and made just right for me.

Love this local cafe. Had the delicious full Welsh breakfast to start the day. Had to wait for a bit for our food (it's a huge order from us) but definitely worth the wait!

Food excellent, quirky cafe, staff lovely. But there is reasonable and there is cheap. This was a bargain so much so i mentioned perhaps a slight increase.

We visited on an extremely hot day (32Β°) and the poor staff were really struggling in the heat of the kitchen area but still managed to be lovely and friendly. We had the Welsh breakfasts and lattes all of which were delicious and freshly prepared. Very reasonably priced x

I had a wonderful time. Even with a large group of people we were all accepted and helped to an amazing breakfast for an entire week. From teacakes to full English breakfasts or just wrapping sandwiches to go because you have to leave soon; it all tastes amazing. Do keep in mind that if you plan to visit, the shop is currently cash-only.
