Went in for a few pints while waiting to collect a curry from up the road, proper old school boozer, no pretenses, great landlady, bit of banter with the locals and decent beer, spot on!

Nice historical pub, local clientele but welcomes visitors. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Big tick from me!

Nice pub, real charming character
Friendly bar staff and a good real ale on sale well worth a visit if in the area.
Just popped in for a quick couple of drinks. lovely old place, great staff, roaring log fire.
