Absolutely stunning tea rooms! Beautifully decorated to a very high standard with plenty of comfortable seating options.
The food is as fabulous as the decor (try the little bitesize potatoes things - they’re delicious!)
All this with the added bonus of being next to the lovely garden centre too.
If you fancy a lovely meal, just a cake and a cuppa, or even something stronger, I’d highly recommend stopping by.
We came for breakfast yesterday, a little wait for food however this wasn’t an issue as the restaurant was very busy (full) .
The food is clearly cooked to order, beautifully presented (smashed Avocado and poached egg on toast) worth the little wait! The team were very attentive watching every table and making sure everything was cleared away and customers attended to and whilst I know it’s their job , they were faultless and delivered service with a smile .

The plants on sale looked really well cared for, smaller selection than others but good variety. Worth a pop in for sure.
I have been to Pillaton Tea Rooms a number of times and always fine the food lovely and the staff friendly.
We arranged for my sister to have a baby shower there in their new Glasshouse Room. The room is beautifully presented with very high quality furniture and decorations. I dealt with Linda throughout who was super helpful. We were able to decorate the room too which was great. All staff serving were fab and our host Claire was lovely.
I'd certainly recommend the food good quality and value. Try the chicken ham and leek pie special. You won't be disappointed. Good service tops it off. l will certainly go again

Lovely range of plants. Love the range of goods in the shops,and to add that they have a slendid restaurant with plenty of choice. People working there are very accommodating to your every need.
Incredible service, amazing food, and a wonderful experience thanks to Linda at Pillaton Garden Centre's Glasshouse - it was a lovely afternoon tea for our family. Absolutely fantastic food. Linda went above and beyond to make it a great experience. The room was beautifully presented, Covid-friendly, and clean too! Massively recommend for parties and family get togethers. We would recommend it for business meetings or small weddings, too. Thank you!
The tea room is lovely. There was a little wait for the Chicken Caesar S
Salad but that was because the chicken was freshly cooked. The best I've ever had and afterwards a cortado coffee & cake. What's not to like!
Fantastic, came here at the end of last year and it was great then, came today (30/04/2023) and it has changed massively! It has moved to the other side, the tea room is great, stunning decor, to the point that I wouldn't mind them coming to design my house, friendly and efficient team and the food is outstanding! Thank you and keep up the hard work!!!
Attention to detail… the table next to us had a wobbly leg and the waitress… spotted this and put it right before the customers even noticed. Apple cake and Yorkshire tea … superb … we will be back

Wow. A hidden gem just outside penkridge and not far from Stafford. Staff are amazing, great new update of the restaurant. Went again todays burger and service were amazing. The waitress staff were really aware of what was happening throughout the restaurant.
Just missed breakfast so arruved between breakfast and lunch, good selection of scones abd cakes, really nice coffee.shame we dint live nearer would be a regular

I do admire the way you respond to feedback, you can’t please all the people all the time and as you say, you get what you pay for. Just continue with the great standards. Proof is you were fully booked on a Wednesday in March and we had to book in advance. Well done team Pillaton 😊
The cafe is nicely decorated. Decent breakfast. One star knocked off for cheap sausage.
