We had our own room to celebrate our family birthday party which was amazing. We had the Gold buffet from the buffet menu and the food was amazing. The staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. It made our night a very enjoyable one.
Took our grandchildren here. We went around 4.30pm on a Wednesday afternoon we purchased the 5 for £16 and then purchased sides of chips the food was OK usual pub grub. Then we had desserts have to say thes were really nice and well worth the money think we paid between £4/£5 kids enjoyed it.

Came to visit for the 1st time in years with Family for a birthday party. We had our own separate area that was just for us. The food was good pub standard, but we did wait 50+minutes from ordering...we were informed when ordering, so no problems really. Good local pub with decent food, added bonus
Staff go above and beyond. Offered a breastfeeding woman a drink. Deal very well with childrens injuries. Food is always decent. Couldn't ask for more from a family pub!
Food was fab. Kids were kept entertained. Special mention to the lad with long brown hair who had a lovely chat with my 6 year old daughter despite being very busy. Your patience and kindness were appreciated.
We've been to this place lots of times and have never been disappointed.
Our daughter has had two birthday parties there (requested by her as it's not as busy, it's smaller and more intimate than other soft plays).

We had a really good experience at the red lion in penketh, the staff were attentive and the food was good value ! Our booking was for 14 people, however the food was well coordinated and the team were well organised ! The play barn was as also great for the kids … will be back …

Loved the food service was good and upbeat with staff smiling and having a little natter etc atmosphere could do with a little boost but other then that can't fault it me and my friend was happy customers

Really good food, it was a very busy night for them so food took a little longer than first anticipated but we didn't mind as food was still a very good standard when it arrived.
