I'm sure the cafe is a nice place to eat in, but if you would like to spend more time indulging yourself in fifty tones of purple and green, they have wonderful selections that can be easily backed in the backpack for later. They provide good advice on where to go as well.
This is such an awesome cafe. The staff are always lovely despite the place being busy all the time. The cakes are to die for. The coffee is beautifully prepared and delicious. Lots of seats inside and outside. The fact this is located right by the car park to one of the nicest walks in the Pentland
We had a lovely lunch break at this wee hidden gem. We had the soup of the day, a panini and the meal of day. A lovely Italian recipe that tasted fantastic. The owner is very friendly and both felt so cosy. What a perfect wee hidden place before or after enjoying a walk at the reservoir. Thank you f
I hadn’t walked in the Flotterstone area for ages, so this little gem of an eatery, was a welcome surprise.
The coffee was amazing, as was the banana and nut cake. You can sit outside or inside and the views are fabulous. The husband and wife team are delightful too.

Superb place to grab a treat after a long walk. Delicious cakes and the coffee is excellent. Friendly service and plenty of seating outdoors and some cosy seating inside. Recommended. Might even pop up even if not going walking!
Cannot comment of the visitor information centre as we were out of season while visiting... However, I can tell you that this location is beautiful with some lovely walks (make sure that you look at the map which indicates the states of the paths... Which range from small pavements/roads all the way
Popped in for a takeaway hot chocolate for our walk ,it tasted absolutely delicious.
Lovely atmosphere inside the cafe and I noticed wonderful cakes too
Great cafe with proper cake and lunch menu, ciabatta was well filled and good side salad portion. Good coffee and fast service

This is the place listed on many walking guides as the visitors information center or flotterstone cafe. They do delicious coffee and can fill up your water bottles if you are a little short. The staff are very friendly but is is small so be prepared to get cozy with a stranger or order to go. Behin
