Have been a few times and always a great experience. Went again last week, a party of 7, and as good as ever. The service was great, the food came out together and everything utterly delicious (and hot)
Its a lovely pub in a lovely location...really can't fault it
I booked a table here for our anniversary the service was spot on and the food was fantastic. Lovely atmosphere well worth a visit if you're in the area. I'd like to say a massive thank you to the kitchen staff and our waitress Katie. We will definitely be coming back soon *****
Staying in the area and booked our table late on, staff were very accommodating and got us in with our pushchair too. Everyone was friendly and service was very quick. Fabulous meal last night, my husband and I had the 2 courses for £16 which was excellent value. My daughter had the children's 2 courses for £8. Will definitely be returning soon. The service was also great- thanks for a lovely evening.😊
Dropped in for a family Sunday lunch. Beautifully cooked and presented food - especially the roasted root vegetables 😋. Staff were helpful and efficient. Will be going back to try their mid-week menu.
Amazing food at reasonable prices. The location is lovely, with a pretty little courtyard for outside dining. Service was very friendly and the quality of the food was second to none. I definitely recommend this place.

We attended a funeral tea in the lodge. Fully stocked bar, tea and coffee on a self serve table, lovely sandwiches, pastries and salads.
