A lovely lunch stop during our museum visit. The young chap who served was delightful and it was clear the staff were operating as a team to make for a lovely lunchtime experience. The food was fab and decently priced and the views were a bonus. Highly recommended. Thanks to all the staff here…
My son loved his ham, egg and chips!
We visited with two children in wheelchairs. We entered via the fire escape which offered fairly level access, albeit with a small step and a tight turn. Friendly staff and good food. Portions were very large which was nice, but some of us struggled to finish our plates! The staff offered us doggy bags to take away.
Local art on the walls. Amazing views of the landscape and cliffs.
Good food. Huge portions. Great staff; super kind and friendly to foreigners/ tourists as well. Dog-friendly. Amazing view. We enjoyed our soup and sanwiches. The chocolate cake and hot chocolate are divine.
Excellent food, friendly service, outstanding views across the sea. A hidden gem in the Cornish Coastline. Followed by an extremely interesting tour of Geevor Tin Mines. Mind blown.
Came down here today with a coach full of school kids. While waiting around, I popped in here for breakfast and a coffee. Amazing full English and the coffee was fantastic. Lovely staff and food arrived in super quick time, piping hot and was superb. Highly recommend if you're passing to pop in here for breakfast.
Lovely little cafe. Made our dog really welcome and dealt very well with my general awkwardness. Fab little place with wonderful scones. My girl loved her cream tea and my plain scone was beautiful. Highly recommend this place.
We visited the Count House Cafe today and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We received a friendly welcome and found the place easily accessible and very clean. To be frank, it was one of the best restaurants/cafes we've visited during our travels. The menu is comprehensive, and the pasties are to die for. The views and food are on another level. My only regret is that I didn't find this little gem sooner. Well done, staff of the Count House Cafe, you've nailed it! P.S. We will be back for more pasties... haha!
I've never had a bad meal here. Their pasties are the best locally and their breakfast is great value and delicious. I also think it's worth recognising and mentioning that the service is fantastic: friendly and efficient. A great place to sit and watch the sea too.
Delicious food, great coffee, fantastic service and best of all, dog friendly! The two ladies who served were so warm and welcoming, we will definitely visit again! Thanks for a lovely experience!
Always had good food and service at Geevor. However was disappointed today when I tried to reserve a table for Friday and was told that I could not book a table over their busy period. Thought that was the idea behind booking a table. Anyway being a local I might not book a table there again.
What an amazing cafe. Food homemade and excellent, very friendly and helpful staff. After a great tour of the NT Levant mine this was just what we needed.
What a great find. We had difficulty choosing from the varied menu and were surprised by the portion sizes (great value for money). The food was well prepared and presented and full of flavour. The staff were so helpful and friendly. On top of that the view from the cafe window is stunning. Don’t miss this cafe if you’re in the area.
Good prices and great views over the cliff. Large gallery of paintings and photos on the walls. The menu and specials are certainly more interesting than your typical café. We had some Cornish pasties, side salad, loaded fries and pizza fries. Good value for money and freshly prepared. Only slightly let down by the uneven filling of the pasties: all the vegetables on one side, all the beef on the other side.
I attended a private function there yesterday. The food was amazing as were the staff. I would highly recommend using these facilities if you are planning a private event.
Great breakfast with a stunning view to boot. The young lady serving was a joy. Would recommend this place to kickstart your day, fuel for the coast path walking or a cure for that hangover!!!!
Excellent breakfast, fantastic front of house service, especially Wendy thankyou for all your help and kindness.
The Sunday staff are great. Good coffee generous cakes and toasted tea cakes
The ‘count house breakfast’ and my coffee were fab; they were reasonably priced too. I will definitely be going again next time I’m that far south.
